This won't happen at WM 24. But picture this...
Matt Hardy fights for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 25, and wins.
Later in the night, Jeff Hardy wins a hard fought battle to win the WWE Title.
As Jeff is celebrating, brother Matt meets him in the ring, and they embrace as the confetti drops and the fireworks start.
What nobody thought would happen 10 years ago happens...tag team partners that actually started out as a tag team (rather than previously being megastars in their own right) are now atop the WWE.
So what do you think of Jeff and Matt having an "Eddie/Benoit at WM 20" moment?? Are they even world title material in your mind??
Sound off.

This shouldnt happen simply because the last time something vaguely simmilair to this scenario happened a few years later one person involved was dead and the other was dead and a murderer to boot
lets not tempt fate

Well I think it would be cool, but I honestly think that neither one will win the gold at WM, but it would be nice.

I think that would actually be a really great moment, especially when you take into consideration that they both started out as job guys in the company and all the peaks and valleys that they've both endured.
But I will say that if Matt wins the title, it needs to be against Edge.

I think Matt has a better chance than Jeff, just because he doesn't have to deal with the HHH and Cena's of the world.

I always wanted to see parallel endings at Wrestlemania ever since XX. We've been close, but not close enough:
XX - Benoit/Eddie.
21 - Batista/Cena (the popular up and comers)
22 - Triple H/Orton or Angle (Top heels or remnants of Evolution)
23 - Undertaker/Michaels (two legends)

An Eddie/Who moment?
Voted for yes. At least Jeff I could see as a future world champion. It would be cooler than HHH/Orton or whatever is supposed to happen that doesn't sound too exciting.

I see this as the ending of the next Summerslam. Matt's burst appendix/absesses are delaying things just a little too much for this to be this year's WM. Otherwise, they could have resolved the MVP feud and rekindled his feud with Edge during a Matt/Batista vs. Edge/MVP SD main event.
However, it is pretty obvious that the SD main event at WM will be Edge/Taker, or else an angle where Matt comes in as #30 and wins, leading to a blow-off match with MVP in a US Title vs. WM title shot could have lead to a hot return for Matt.
As for Jeff, the Raw main event is a little more open, I think. They could plug him in at damn near any point if they so chose. He's over enough, and I think much more of Orton as champ might start to hurt ratings some.

Matt hasn't even won the US Championship yet That's only because of Matt's injury.I'm convinced that Misterio took Matt's spot at Armageddon against M.V.P.If he wasn't hurt,he probably woud've wonthe U.S> title. It seems as if Vince wants to "test the waters"with Jeff as I.C. champ, and Matt as U.S. champ to see if the audience will respond to thm as champions.Matt's injury delayed things ,but there's still time.
