John Cena is said to be making great progress in his rehabilitation. Both Stephanie McMahon and Brian Gewirtz are hoping he can return to action at WrestleMania. Upon his return, Cena will likely resume his feud with Randy Orton. If he does end up appearing at Mania, it will likely be a surprise run-in or advertised guest appearance.

after seeing him show up at Tribute for the Troops, I knew he'd end up participating in Wrestlemania as well

It's said...if...likely...
Usual news stuff, meaning basically nothing.
BTW a match at Mania without buildup or promotion? I don't think so

I doubt they'd do it unannounced, but something similar wouldnt be a shock, just vignettes prior to the return etc.

It did just say "return to action". They did not say it would be a match. Maybe he will just do a run-in during the Orton match or something. They could have him show up at Mania...and still keep him out of a wrestling match for another month after that if they worked it well.

If he does end up appearing at Mania, it will likely be a surprise run-in or advertised guest appearance. That's my favorite part. Likely to either be a surprise or advertised. Hedging our bets there, are we?

BOO!!!
WWE is so much better Cena-free. It would be a damn shame if that were to happen.

im glad hes recovering well but it would be nice for him to be gone alot longer so that we can have a heavyweight title hunt thats actually competitive and less predictable, rather than a goldberg wcw style thing where you know no matter what happens hes going to win

Wow...This doesn't seem right to me...They were projecting at least 8 months...I don't seem him coming back in less than that if he wants that thing to heal correctly.

His fu to Vince was terrible, dangerous to. Eh, Vince probably deserved it. But yeah, Cena was clearly half-assing that FU (but for good reason - ie, his chest cavity would tear apart if he really got into the physicality of doing a wrestling move?)

Wow, thats an amazingly fast recovery. Almost as if there was a substance one could inject into their bodies that made them not only stronger and faster, but also rapidly increased the speed at which one recovers from a serious injury.

I think I just heard the opening chord from a familiar Motorhead song...

He can't tell you he didn't, but you can't prove that he did. Or something. I dunno ... ask CNN.
