..The way Vince ate up all the other territories? Seriously. Not that anyone should get into the business with that as their main goal, and things are a lot different today, but could it be done?

It would take a downfall of the industry as a whole to do it. I really don't think any company can come along and "kill" WWE. If they fall, it will be on their own from within.

I'd expect even the sun exploding might be met with an "I'm Vince McMahon, DAMMIT!!!"
Once Vince is gone, we can talk about the end of the WWE. It will never die with him involved.

Honestly, it would be pretty hard.
Maybe something like, God forbid, an accident that kills everyone or something. How would they continue?

Definitely agree what has already been said, there should be no worry about the downfall of the WWE until Vince McMahon has passed. I regard him as a genius and if he could survive against WCW, the WWE is safe with him as the Chairman.

Something would have to happen to the talent. Things I don't even want to imagine, such as a plane crash, or a bomb going off in the arena.

Maybe something like, God forbid, an accident that kills everyone or something. How would they continue? I don't even think that would kill the company. They'd run a few weeks of retrospectives, and then slowly dismantle TNA and ROH for their talent. It would be an honor to be part of the "re-born" WWE, moving forward and paying tribute to the past and all that. Marshall University football came back 1 season after their team was wiped out. (And they didn't nearly have the talent to draw from that the WWE does) The students and fans demanded it - I'm sure the WWE fans would too.

Vince, I imagine, does not have very long to go in his current position with him being 62 years old. Without him in the picture, WWE may have serious trouble. That is years down the line though. If WWE ever went down, the whole business will start all over again and there would most likely be territories again...someone going national...etc.

I don't think terrorities would work anymore, even though some people are wishing for that to happen.
In 1983, Dallas seemed like the entire wrestling world to a WCCW fan. You didn't know anything else - these were the biggest wrestling starts you knew about, with the possible exception of some big NWA guys like Ric Flair.
Now that we've lived through the WWE's dominance, it wouldn't be the same. You wouldn't sell out arenas for a show with regional (i.e. watered down) talent, when fans had previously seen companies like the WWE on TV. It's national or nothing.

the territories will never happen again, vince already broke that barrier and then everyone else followed and now that ideal/unspoken code of sticking to ur own backyard is totally dead, just about everyone wants to go national/global now

nothing at all. the name is pretty much associated with wrestling no matter what. some people even call wrestling "wwf" or "e" or whatever. even if mcmahon sold it and if it went way to the shitter it would still exist. i think the only thing that could possible stop it if the world blew up, but then some aliens would take the ideas, clone all the wrestlers, rebuild the world, and then reuse it.

We saw Vince die earlier this year, and yet still WWE flourished. My god, WWE is invincible!
