Not exactly beginning of the year, but after the Draft I was predicting a Chris Benoit-Marcus Cor Von ECW Title Match at WrestleMania 24
Add that to my "I'm calling it right now" photoshop of Cena vs Michaels vs Hunter at WM 24 and I had a bad year.
I would never like The Great Khali
Jimmy Wang Yang would be Cruiserweight Champion
Cryme Tyme would be the ones to beat Rated RKO for the tag belts.
The Battle Of The Billionaires will be:
-Hogan vs Shane -Hogan vs Khali -Hogan vs Umaga -Foley vs Umaga

Jimmy Wang Yang would be Cruiserweight Champion If there's one thing I know they dropped the ball on, it's this. I marked when Jimmy won at No Way Out...before Chavo became a 'surprise'...despite they already SAID Chavo was going to be there!

I really thought Kennedy would be World Champ by now.

"Cena will keep the title through the year" And I didn't mean that in a bad way. is there a good way of saying that a no-talent waste of space will hold onto the biggest title in the industry all year round? and to the guy who said hhh didnt really put hardy over, what more do you want from him? did you expect hardy to squash him?

I cant say I made an formal predictions last year around this time. I can say that last year I did think they would cancel ECW before the end of 2007. I also thought Cena would be champion for the whole year unless he had plans to make another movie.

I thought Cena would be champ all year. All next year too. He has 2009 to be champ all year, though.

I thought Carlito and Kennedy would be world title contenders and that Jeff Hardy would be gone.

"Triple H putting Jeff Hardy over? Yea, that'll be the day..." It could be argued that Hunter didn't REALLY put Hardy over... Yeah, I suppose they could have had Hardy pin HHH ten times in a row and then stick him in a box marked "OVW."

It could be argued that Hunter didn't REALLY put Hardy over... Yeah, I suppose they could have had Hardy pin HHH ten times in a row and then stick him in a box marked "OVW." lol Hey, I had no problem with the match. In fact, I liked it and the ending. However, if someone wanted to argue that HHH didn't really put Hardy over, they very easily could.

I haven't seen a rub given like that to another guy since I accidentally walked into the men's room at the Worcester rest stop.

Kennedy World Champion
Cena v Orton at WrestleMania (3rd year straight the prediction has turned out false, and we're on for the 4th one...)
Triple H will be Champion again (1 hour reign barely counts)
Jeff Hardy will headline Heat and/or will be fired
CM Punk will become a vital part of the show

My predictions turned out very poorly:
1) Vince McMahon would never be so egostistical as to make himself ECW Champion.
2) No new members will be added to the on-screen McMahon family--and in particular, no midgets.
3) If Vince McMahon is blown up in a limousine explosion, it will be legitimate.

"Mickie James will get pushed as the new face of the Women's Division." i wouldn't say this is a wasted prediction ... while she hasn't carried the gold, she's pretty much carried the division all year. and i think she's got the best w/l record out of any of the divas all year. True, but her days as the top female face are long over. Just wait until Candice gets shoved down our throats moreso than ever.

I predicted that there would be a year of entertaining programming.
They sure did zing me on that one! Oh WWE, will you ever learn?
