i was gonna say HHH, but i kinda want to see him lose, so i must care in some way.
so for me its shawn micheals. i immediatley lose interest in whatever match he's put in. i dont know why, i just couldnt care less about him.
for a non WWE, DDP is it. just never saw the appeal personally and couldnt have cared less about any match he was in.

Lashley.
Candice is okay and all, but why WWE bothering with her is beyond me. She is not going to be the next Trish Stratus, she's not charismatic or nearly as good a wrestler. In addition to this, she's seriously hurt herself because of her own incompetence.
She's a slightly more talented version of Ashley.

Triple H is probably the main one.

I never cared about Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Mark Henry, or The Great Khali. I'm sensing a pattern here, but guys like Undertaker, Kane, and Big Show get pushes, however inconsistently, because they actually have character, and even in Big Show's case, it's a relatively simple character sold convincingly. I didn't find much interesting about the aforementioned "big guys."
Babyface Candace also gets a big "meh" from me. I much prefer Heelish Bisexual Seductress Candace, and not for the obvious male reasons either- it just beats this Trish Stratus v. 2.0 gimmick they've saddled her with. The same mannerisms, the same promos, the same commentary, the same basic selling point of a (if you'll pardon my looting of the geek cultural lexicon here) "strong, energetic Lawful Good female champion," a character that exists solely because we apparently want to market role models to young girls that guys can also appreciate because they're hot. Yet we never worry about that with the male athletes. There's no pressure to market a "strong male role model" that I can sense in wrestling entertainment, and no one is going to accuse you of oversexing the industry and setting a bad example for young men if you make a Goldust or a Rico character. Thus, less creative limitation. There seems to be no such freedom when it comes to booking the Women's Division, and so we get the same kinds of characters in there over and over again and a limited quota of blueprints for pushes there -- despite new angles like Mickie/Trish getting a lot of response from the crowd.
But I'd say my most current and most unfortunate answer to this topic's question is Randy Orton.
I don't actively dislike the man or the character, but as the title of thread says, I just don't care about him. He was never a sympathetic or compelling enough face to get behind, and the only time I ever cared for him as a heel were in his Evolution days, when he had the "rich, powerful, big-shot heels" stable dynamic to play off of and augment his onscreen personality. These days, he's a lone wolf, and he's NOT the kind of heel that can make that work. More than a mouthpiece, he needs people who will call attention to him, make it seem like a BIG DEAL that he's the champion. Otherwise, he's just the guy with the belt -- the Cadeoch or La Resistance of the WWE title.
I don't think it's simply that Triple H and Jeff Hardy and Vince McMahon and all these other characters seem more prominent on the show that some fans can't tune into RAW and immediately recall that Orton is the champion. It's really boiled down to Orton himself. Because Vince and Coach and Regal apparently have more important things to do, Orton has to put Orton over.
Which is a shame, because unlike many Crappers here, I don't actually hold that Orton is a bad wrestler. Is his moveset brimming with techniques? No, but the quantity of techniques has never mattered to me as much as the quality, and that's where Orton's at least a slice above competent. He's smooth, intense, and sells remarkably well. And of course, "young Randall" has youthful vigor on his side. I haven't seen him botch a move in ages. He's nowhere near as ruinous an addition to a main event as the belief around this board persists. The problem is...I just don't find him an addition at all. Either he can't break through the booking bubble his character is stagnating in, or- and this is what I've been growing to suspect of late- he's just incapable of exuding the fanfare that should accompany a champion.

Mr. Kennedy...I don't hate the guy, just don't see anything special about him, aside from his intro microphone speech, which got old months ago.

Hogan. The guy can do nothing well. Draw money? Attract an audience? Get the audience to react? Start a boom period? Oh, you mean he doesn't use many wrestling holds in a fake sport? Ahh, now I see what you mean. You're right, he does nothing well. My vote is Shawn Michaels. He made me stop watching wrestling in 1995-1996.

Oh noes you didn't?!?!? Just kidding. I agree, and not because he sucks as I think he is a terrific athlete, but he is treated like the second coming of God by wrestling smarks and I just don't care for that. Especially since the ECW Champion has less of a claim in the WWE than the Women's Champion nowadays.

The most recent incarnation[/u][/b] of John Cena. I cannot stress enough that I used to mark for the guy, but since he went from rapping heel to ass-kissing babyface, I couldn't care less about the guy.
Also Bobby Lashley, and this was from the get-go. Never really saw much in the guy, despite his (obvious) skill.
