The question is simple. Was RVD better in the original ECW or WWE and its many brands?
I'm going to have to say that he was better in WWE simply because I wasn't a fan of ECW when he was there (ie. I wasn't a fan of ECW).
Your thoughts?

I haven't seen as much of his ECW stuff as I would like, but I still gotta lean towards ECW for this one.

Most people who have been in both had better matches in ECW. They were simply allowed to do more dangerous moves. His character also made a bit more sense, as the pot references were a lot more blatant.

What is it? RVD day? Seriously. Three out of the top 4 threads...
Anyway, I enjoyed his matches more in WWE myself. Maybe because I got to see him almost every week, not sure.

Another point I would make is that he never held the top prize in all his years in ECW, but in WWE he wound up winning the top belt and the belt that was formerly the top belt in his previous work place!

The guy was entertaining no matter where he went. But I think the freedom to do whatever he wanted in ECW suited him better.
