I know alot of people are saying Lashley should turn heel and have a manager, but can his effectiveness work if he had a face manager. I know this is a pipe dream, but if Donald Trump is a regular member of the roster, he can manage Bobby Lashley. He did a good job with Wrestlemania, and I am sure he can make Lashley over. What do you guys think?

The problem with a manager for any superstar is that if they are too big a name they become more important than the wrestler itself. Giving Lashley a big name manager may make the partnership seem more important short term, but eventually the fans will be cheering just for a guy like Trump and not for the wrestler - which will be bad.
Managers work when a new guy needs some sort of recognition and needs to get noticed and so a well known name - like Heyman with Brock - can work wonders. Lashley is already too well known, and giving him a manager now will make him go backwards. Especially not a big name one, like Trump. Smaller name managers with bigger stars can work like Bearer with the Undertaker but he was part of a continued story and history with the Undertaker, and wasn't as big a name. Trump would take a lot of attention that Lashley should be getting.
Lashley has gone past the stage where he needs a manager. What the MVP/Hardy feud has proved is that even a guy that isn't electric on the mic can have an interesting long term feud that brings out their character traits and can get benefit from it. Give Lashley an original programe that will build on the work acheived from the Vince feud and he will get over. A manager will do more harm than good.

Face managers haven't worked well in a long while. Hell half the time when you pair a face with a valet/diva it ends in disaster.

I'd like to see a face manager again.
I still think there is room for them in the business today.

The only face managers you get these days are divas, and usually untalented blockheads get them. I.e. Test, Chuck Palumbo etc.
Only face manager I've enjoyed since the days of Teddy Hart in WCW was Super Stacy.

Just look at guys like Kidman, Carlito, Tajiri and Orton, whenever they get a valet it gets real bad and usually the diva gets a bigger pop than the guy they are accompanying to the ring.

No. WWE needs to go old school and have a no good heel like Kennedy or whoever crush Lashley's throat upon his return. Thus, Lashley doesn't have to cut promos for a good while.

Come on, how AWESOME would it be for Trump to manage Lashley.
Trump: "GEDDEM BOBBY"! "THATTABOY BOBBY"! "DO WE LOVE BOBBY"?

I dunno how much more mileage they can get out of him as a face. I actually believe him to be talented for a big man, but he really needs to be a dangerous heel.

The idea of a face manager..........never made sense to me. I mean, I grew up in the Federation era ("The Golden Age") but missed guys like Olivery Humperdink and Arnold Skaaland. I've seen the Managers DVD and I was just....so confused when they did the part about Skaaland. The managers I knew were all heels Heenan, Fuji, Jimmy Hart, Slick, Blassie. I'm still waiting on the Heel Manager manages a face odd couple storyline. Regal and Eugene? Yeah, that's really the only one I can think of either. And it kinda worked for a while there (until Regal was back to wrestling after his sickness and then Eugene got hurt). Would Savage & Elizabeth count too, kinda? I don't recall her ever doing anything overtly heelish to help him win matches; if anything, he'd use her as a way to sneak a win out...
