People have said it before: Sting should be TNA's version of The Undertaker. He doesn't hang out with anybody (these days), he's a "man of few words", and when he appears, it should be a major event.

Non-talking Sting sucked. I like hybrid Sting. And he shouldn't be TNA's version of a WWE wrestler, he should just be Sting; he's the only big name that's never been connected to the WWE and it should stay that way. It'd be horrible if his last couple of years in wrestling were him being a TNA version of a WWE guy.

Sting's never going to turn heel. The fans didn't accept it in WCW, they won't accept it in TNA. And Abyss turning would basically make the entire storyline up to this point (has to be six months at least now, doesn't it?) utterly pointless, and even TNA's booking isn't that nonsensical. sting started out as a heel.........

True but he wasn't the Sting that everyone knows now. He was a BladeRunner, a monster heel type. He's been super babyface Sting for over a decade now. His heel turn in WCW failed.

Sting is one of those guys that fans just won`t be heel. I can`t think of anbody except Warrior whose more or less been a face for so long during their career.

Sting may have been teurned on numerous times but that is a proud history in wrestling. Dusty Rhodes got turned on more than once by so called allies and Hulk Hogan made it a reacuring storyline as well. he got turned on by Tug-Boat, Andre, Paul Orndorf, Ed Leslie(as the Zodiac) and probably a few people I forgot to put on the list as well.

People turn on Sting because Sting is too trusting, I also think it has something to do with the fact that Sting can't turn on anyone because the fans won't heel him. He's one of those rare wrestlers that fans can't ever see as heel even tho he's doing heel things. Even among the smark community it's cool and not heelish when Sting takes out 3 or 4 guys with his bat. He should bring that back, tho. I like Sting as a loner. Come back loner Sting, I miss you. I agreed with all the way up until you said "Come back loner Sting..." I hated (and still hate) that crow gimmick. Granted, I hate it less now that Stinger's gone "crow lite," but god I hate that gimmick so much. I say, come back "I'm still surfer but now I got creative control so now I don't have to bleach and flat-top my hair" Sting!

"Why does Sting trust people?" Why do people still cheer Hogan and Cena? Why is it fair that dirt like Vince McMahon are on top of the world? Why do talented guys get buried beneath talentless guys?
Who knows?

I agree with you, I'm just saying he should be similar to The Undertaker in the way he's used: scary, gothic veteran who shows up once in a while to tremendous fanfare and puts the fear of God into somebody.
