I've had my fill of everyone crammed inside this mold of so called alienation and preach about how they suffer as pariahs and outsiders.

Everyone pretends they want out, but all they do is scurry like insects, trying to find their place within the system. All across the spectrum of conformity people like you jump to fit in.

From this corner in every room, it's all the same. Corporate board meetings or local rock shows, you're all the same. You'll never see me because you can't even see yourself for what you are.

You all want out, but in denying yourself the power to choose for yourself, you went deeper in than ever before. And from here, I try not to boast, but I'm the only outsider you'll ever meet. Knowledge is power and with it you'll find the key that opens all doors.

If you want to see where ignorance leads, look around, it's taking you nowhere. You're going to die as you live, unhappily but blissful.

Hmmm, interesting how they would include corporate counter culture into the mix, almost seems like a attack on Jacobs in a way. I really have no clue what this all means but this is just getting better and better

I would highly doubt it, unless they are totally changing his character, which would be almost impossible.

I found this line from the new post interesting:

I might be looking too much into it, but it screams "BJ Whitmer" to me. It comes off as Whitmer bashing those who feel he doesn't seem to fit in ROH. After all, that does seem to be general attitude the IWC has concerning him. "Oh... BJ Whitmer sucks. I don't want him anywhere near ROH. Moving on..." I noticed the possible "Jimmy Jacobs" references as well - all the more reason to suspect Whitmer.

As for who else it could be...

1) As it was mentioned before, I'm 99% sure it's not Steve Corino. He's too busy with Zero-One and the AWA and besides, his career is indeed heading into the "home stretch."

2) A post on the Torch Subscriber forums suggested that the "leader" might be British. Apparently, "161" is also the area code for Manchester. Combine that with the picture of London that was on the one site and the negative comments made against Americans in the first post and... well... yeah. Nigel, anyone? Maybe Doug Williams?

3) As much as I would like for it be Vampiro, I don't see it happening. Thanks to Vince Russo and WSX, the guy is too "tainted" to make much of an impact. The crowd would crap all over him. Same thing goes for Shane Douglas.

4) I too have a feeling that Delirious might be involved one way or another. After all, his "evil" beard seems to be coming along quite nicely...

There were two pics, if I'm not mistaken. The picture to the right (the one that was upside-down) was confirmed to be Chicago. The one on the left though (the one with the skyline) was London, or so I've heard.

I don't think it was confirmed...the old picture of something burning was never really stated to be Chicago or London or wherever.

Also - I don't know who's from Manchester. Nigel's from London IIRC and Dougie's from Reading.

Does anyone know any indie guys from Manchester?

And just as a note, I don't necessarily think it's someone from England. I think 161 being the Manchester area code is some people reading into anything associated with the number.
