Okay, I was talking to someone and they said that they had read a story that TNA had a house show that completely failed.
It was supposed to be in Kansas City and only drew a total 90 people.
So...were they just running their mouth, or is there a story out there that I'm missing?
If it's true, I'm guessing TNA might just cross out KC for the next years house shows.

It was 550 - 600 people in KC. I have a friend on the state athletic commision, and he said Jeremy Borash mentioned TNA was happy with the turn out.
What they lacked in ticket sales, was compensated by people spending $20 to get their picture taken in the ring with Angle afterwards. Easily 200+ people did that in KC.
The Wichita show the next night drew even better numbers, and had about 350 do the Angle photo thingy. They said over the mic they'd be coming back to Wichita.

90 people? They should have just canceled the show. You never do that in wrestling. It's bad manners. But anywho, yay for something close to me!

But anywho, yay for something close to me! well corino canceled a show once that had crap advanced ticket sales. most super indy feds won't do that though. because what they lack in ticket sales they'll probably make up in dvd sales. how do you think chikara was still in business in 2004?

Mike Tenay: But it was a house show.....and what are you doing here?
Tony: Can I borrow some money?

i heard only two people watch wwe. I heard CHIKARA is nothing more than a dream from an autistic child. The rumors that the autistic child was Delirious is unsubstantiated.

If Delirious woke up in a bed, and had dreamed every event, that would be the best farewell show ever. Wearing the Delirious mask, and children's pajamas, in a race car bed.

Meltzer said the show on Friday with the F John Cena chants had exactly what they wanted, Saturday's only had a couple hundred and Sunday was a sell out in a small building. But, like Blade said, they were super happy with the merchandise numbers and turned a profit that weekend.

90 people? They should have just canceled the show. When Punk and Cabana were rookies they often wrestled in shows that drew around 12 people max. Cancelling a show just tells the fans you don't care about them and you're only in it for money

They're shows usually look pretty small even compared to RoH.

They're shows usually look pretty small even compared to RoH. Well, their biggest crowd ever was 275 at the ECW Arena for the King of Trios night 3 show this past February. They usually draw around around 100, 150. I've seen smaller crowds, though.
