Yeah, and I only said Ole seems like a huge turd since nobody in the business seems to ever have a nice thing to say about him. But he did give a young, quirky, 180-pound opener the name "Randy Savage", and basically created The Road Warriors (named the guys/picked the workers/told them to no-sell and pound jobbers), so at one point, the guy had a clue.
Plus, he was pretty scary as the voice of the Black Scorpion and The Shockmaster ;D

He's not the worst ever, but he'll never win Nice guy of the year award.

The Ole on tv is not too far off how he really is. I don't think it's him being a jerk as much as him being completely blunt about things. His book, while admittedly opinionated (HE even admits that), is an awesome read if just for the story of his meeting with Vince after the Briscos stabbed him in the back and sold their shares of Gerogia Championship Wrestling to Vince.

Maybe, but I remember hearing at a Wrestling Convention in August of 2005 how he came up to David and wanted money that he claims Ric owed him, and made a scene about it as well. There's a thing for being opinionated and having some self-control. On the topic of Clash matches, here's another one with Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes vs. Ricky Steamboat/Shane Douglas, and Barry goes berzerk and turns heel on everyone: www.dailymotion.com/stinger1981/video/x2qv1e_rhodeswindham-vs-steamboatdouglas_sport

The facial hair was a dead giveaway!
