Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is currently in talks with TNA President Dixie Carter about joining the company. Kurt Angle is trying to broker the deal between the two parties. More on the talks will be posted as they develop.

Doesn't Brock still have some unresolved legal issues with the WWE? If so, does TNA need to get a target painted on their head? And is Angle smurfin' crazy? Yes, he is. Yes, he is.

I thought Lesnar had something crazy like a ten year no compete clause? That crazy TNA, so many toys, so little imagination.

- As posted yesterday, Brock Lesnar has been in talks with TNA about a full time return to wrestling. The word is that Kurt Angle is the main one behind the push for Lesnar to come to TNA as the two have been talking about the schedule in TNA and what its like to work for Dixie Carter. Lesnar is showing interest in the deal because he would receive a high six figure contract from TNA without the heavy travel and work schedule that came with working with WWE.
Lesnar has made it known that he isn't interested in giving up his MMA career and Dixie Carter has indicated that she will work with him on that end of the deal, giving him time off to train for fights and working his schedule around his MMA fight schedule.
Apparently Lesnar told a WWE higher-up that he remains in contact with earlier this year that he would be willing to make a one shot, high paying return at WrestleMania and do a clean job, for the right price. The idea was nixed by Vince McMahon who at the time was still bitter over how Brock left the company and the legal battles that followed.

Thanks TNA for repeating the mistakes of WCW and slowly giving WWE the best young talent out there because you signed all the old guys and pushed them over the guys that got you to where you were. Thus creating resentment and a maxx exodus.
Thanks. Thanks a lot.

So he's allowed to work MMA matches whenever he wants, but other people can't work for ROH or other indy?

I actually saw the Dudleys at an indy show just 2 months ago here actually. P.S. Brock Lesner would be a HUGE pickup.

The only problem with TNA getting Lesnar is that they would be paying way too much for him. It says he would get a "high six-figure contract." If they pay him that much, they will have to cut a lot of other talent they have, the guys that people actually want to see on the show. People don't want to see WWE Lite on TNA. They want to see what it was that got TNA as far as they did. Things like the X Division (remember that?).

I can see it now...
"Lesnar signs with TNA."
Two days later.
"Entire X Division released from contracts."

The original poster knows that...but it's hypocritical to not allow Joe or Shelley or Cide to appear at, say, PWG, but to allow Lesnar to work PPVs with an MMA group.

who would really care? TNA signed Angle and the ratings have not changed THAT much. TNA could sign Hogan, Foley, Bret, Big Show, RVD or whomever and I still don't see that ratings change. It's only marks who are watching these shows anyway. WWE, ECW, TNA etc. The regular people out there don't care for wrestling anymore. I bet those who watched a while back ago when Angle was in WWE but don't watch or follow now have no idea he's in TNA. Unless the read dirt sites and this board and whatnot. So TNA or WWE signing anyone isn't going to do much of anything. Sucks don't it?

It won't change a damn thing, Angle is a bigger star than Brock and it still had no effect on the company. Brock Lesnar, sorry to say, is no longer relevant.
