I like to believe deep down all wrestlers hate their fans. If I was a wrestler then Green Lantern Fan would be thinking twice about attending events again. probably not...he goes to a lot of shows...

Yeah, Daniels definitely wasn't shooting. It was booked that way in case he came back later, but the talent pull ended that.
Daniels has always been vocal about enjoying his time with ROH.

Wade Keller reported on his audio update last night that...
1. Alex Shelley's TNA deal was set to expire very recently. 2. Alex Shelley signed a new TNA deal for two years.
He said he had this from two sources, and that Shelley worked the PWG shows or whatever with TNA's knowledge and consent. Makes sense, because I didn't know why TNA make a new MCMG intro for Impact last week if it were his last match. Shelley's contract being up definitely explains the recent string of jobs.
Maybe Keller's sources is one of Shelley's buds working him. But the way it was stated, this is newer info than what Meltzer reported, and Keller said he looked into it Monday or Tuesday because of the rampant speculation that Shelley was done.
So that's that, I guess.

I like to believe that all the while this speculation stuff happened, Shelley was laughing it up. Maybe smackin hos or something.

Well, I read gerweck in the first post and thought: "Samoa Joe and Alex Shelley may or may not be in WWE next monday."
-Hulk Hogan appearing for Chikara next month

On the same update, Keller reported that Samoa Joe has more than two years left on his TNA contract, he just wanted a raise when TNA wanted him to tack a couple more years onto the deal. Which is what was reported months ago, but somehow, the newz and rumorz wildly spun it into Joe's deal being up at the end of this month.
So yeah, if you like TNA, Shelley and Samoa Joe will be around for a good while. Might not be good if you like Shelley and Samoa Joe, but not TNA.

This is why I don't trust most wrestling news, contract lengths etc are so closely guarded that the chances of pwtorch etc being able to find out without being informed by the wrestler in question are tiny.

So Shelley's staying? I hope it lets him make good money and get a good look at hi mfrom WWE, but I'm not optimistic on his TNA run.
And this makes me wonder if the report about the supposed members of 161 could unfortunately be true. If so...very underwhelming.

Wade said Shelley resigned for 2 years last night.
Wade said Shelley left TNA last night.
Did he say it in the same report or something?

I personally would like to somehow see the MCMGs (with Nash) in WWE. I know that'd piss off the ROHbots, but damn it, I'd actually like to be able to SEE Alex wrestle... :/ How could you forget that the wrestling industry revolves around the demands of ROHbots? Um, no and what's your gripe with ROH anyways? Geez, you'd think they murdered your family by the way you sound. I'm a huge ROH fan and I'd love to see those guys in WWE, London and Kendrick are doing just fine there and they were ROH alumni, having a very long reign on SD as tag champs and now apparently are the Tag champs on Raw for the time being. I bet they'd do just fine if pushed properly.

Hey look, Wade also said this;
We've got 2 big rumor killers regarding top TNA stars. It was reported this week that Alex Shelly was no longer with the company. Shelly worked a worked an indy show in California last weekend, which lead many to believe that the reports were true. Although Shelly is painfully underutilized, he is NOT gone from TNA - he actually has over a year left on his 2-year contract.
There were also reports that Samoa Joe is on his way out of TNA. These reports are also NOT true. Joe has approximately 2 years remaining on his TNA contract. Joe DID recently turn down a contract extension, but the reason is that Joe is happy with his current contract and wants to evaluate things when that deal eventually expires.
...
3 different reports?

This is like a recent Orton "news bit" that spread around recently:
"Randy Orton might be shipped over to Raw so that he would be watched over by Vince and HHH. Or they might keep him on Smackdown. There's also talk of moving him to the main event scene of ECW."
I normally put stock into the more reputable sites like Pwinsider and Meltzer, but sometimes it's like playing Wack-a-Mole
