People are spoiled by WWE Ratings. A 1.0+ on primetime TV, on a cable network, for 2 hours(now) of original programming every week isnt bad whatsoever. I agree but, I don't think its just WWE's ratings but, WCW's as well. Even when they were going under they pulled 2.0s at least. When people see ECW and TNA pulling 1s and find out that toward the end WCW pulled 2s it makes the 1s look bad.

Yeah but all most see is a dieing company that is doing better than you. They don't see the company's history or anything.

Yeah, but back when WCW was starting out, they were getting ratings in the 1.3 or so range, according to the Death of WCW book. That's more comparable. TNA in 5 years is doing 1.0, while WCW before the nWo era was doing similar ratings.

I was just saying it seems people want to compare any new company to a dieing WCW or WWE/WCW at their peak. What TNA is doing is great for now.

no wonder wrestling sucks just look at these fans today Actually I think it's more the self-loathing smarks like you that are ruining it for the rest of us.

Maybe this is just what TNA needs, though I can't help but have doubts since I don't have much faith in the people who run TNA, namely Russo and Jarrett.

Too bad all of us knew this was comin...big let-down compared to the Angle announcement from just a year ago... Bet they bomb or somethin on their first show...get a .9 rating, or somethin...wouldn't shock me not everybody who watches tna reads about it on the internet and keeps up to date with their business deals. of course it didn't surprise you, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't a big announcement.

If they use it properly, it can help them give more time and depth to angles. If, however, they just go with the same booking format, all the extra hour will do is seem as crowded as the first. I hope they can pull it off, though.

For the sake of a lot of young talent in that company that deserves to have some long overdue success, I wish them all the best. It could be an exciting program all around, if done right, and if the young kids are given a chance to shine.
