What entrance themes that , for whatever reason do not do anything for the wrestler they are used for? It can be because the theme is so drastically different than a previous one used by a wrestler, because it doesn't fit the gimmick/persona of the wrestler, or the theme just flat out sucks, or maybe something else
I am watching All Star Extravaganza II, and its the Austin Aries-Lowki match. Aries comes out to a Black Label Society song, and it just doesn't work at all, for all 3 reasons mentioned above.

Kurt Angle's TNA theme with the hip-hop lyrics It used to be so bad-ass! Yeah, "My Quest" is probably my favorite TNA theme so far, wish they wouldn't have changed it either |

I would say Angle's TNA one, it just doesn't seem right having him come out to anything but his old WWE one. That suited him so well.

Kurt Angle's TNA theme with the hip-hop lyrics It used to be so bad-ass! Oh yes. Couldn't agree with you more. At least they kept the cool screaching intro. Thats my favorite part. So that means next week its gone. |

So that means next week its gone. I was so saddened by the demise of the awesomeness in his theme I ahd to go out & buy old TNA DVDs with Angle matches just so I could hear it again. Other themes at odds with the wrestler? Curt Hennig's TNA theme. It was like Sonjay Dutt's pre-"Guru" theme, but without that high-pitched noise in it. Couldn't they have just ripped off his WWF Theme tune? |
