TNA's first 2-hour show was a mixed bag to say the least.
However, there was one highlight I wanted to bring up.
Raven's promo.
Just how great was that?
No really, Raven may have re-established himself in the company with a single promo.
He is a definite master of words and showed it tonight for everyone to see/hear.

I only caught the end of it, but with the second hour, Raven may finally get his chance to re-establish himself. This was a nice first step, hopefully it continues. They've sort of been hinting at Raven reclaiming a bigger role lately.

Raven's promo marked the point at which tonight's show really began to turn it around.

Great promo by Raven to be sure. When Abyss leaves the frame and then screams though, omg do I laugh. I can just see him stepping in a bear trap or something. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

I'd like to see a Sting fued also. Maybe some kind of storyline where Raven wants to bring back the disenfranchised vagabond of Stings days.

I liked it all except for the bound for gory part...bit cheesy.
In all seriousness, great promo, great look for him too.

Yeah, again, Raven is the man.
I hope this turns into something worthwhile and meaningful to the whole product, as it should, as Raven deserves, and as he is more than capable of producing. I just don't want it to be silly "let him do as he pleases in an opener" type deal. He's too smart to this business not to be utilized to his maximum.
Best of luck, Raven, in your future TNA endeavors. I'll keep my fingers crossed and my cut-offs on!

That's ugh and a half. BUT, Raven and Rhodes. I dig it.

I dig all of the dark type characters in TNA, Raven, Abyss, Reign, Mesias, Havok, Daniels and Sting to an extent. I just love those types of characters.
