Dr Death Steve Williams said in an interview he'd like to be in Kobashi's corner in his return match as a show of moral support since Williams battled cancer as well.

That would be a tag match I'd love to see: Williams & Kobashi vs Cancer. Kobashi would keep one half of cancer occupied in the corner with the 1000 chops while Williams gives the other half the Oklahoma Stampede for the win! |

The Japanese Media and the Stron Style Spirit boards (the unofficial English home of Puro) and such have reported that the Budokon sold out VERY QUICKLY, like All Japan heyday quickly (aka before the 10/29 Budokon event ended)
To give some clarification, this is the first Budokon sellout for NOAH in a good while (sometime back in early 2006 or late 2005) and they've been struggling to fill it lately with a bland product.

BTW the main event is Kobashi and Takayama vs Misawa and Akiyama.
Originally that was suppose to be Takayama's NOAH return match in July 2006 but then Kobashi's tumor was found so it's a nice way to bring everything full circle (Sasaki with a broken jaw replaced Kobashi on short notice)
