My earliest memory of wrestling was Owen Hart (as the Blue Blazer) v. Warlord on an episode of Superstars when I was like 5 or 6.
The moment that hooked me was Ric Flair v. Randy Savage at Mania VIII.

An episode of Superstars before Survivor Series 1991, with Hogan on the Funeral Parlor and Ric Flair taunting him with the NWA belt. When Hogan made his rebuttal, Undertaker jumped him from behind and Flair joined him in a beatdown. Then Piper and Savage made the save, but Taker didn't react to a chairshot.
Seeing that at 7 made me question the legitamacy of what I was watching, but the storyline piqued my interest and the rest is history.

It was like boxing with a ring, but the guys didn't just punch each other. They grappled. They fought. Was more entertaining that boxing.
There was no real moment, although I remember Bob Luce always interviewing Dick the Bruiser (1982-83), and that gruff sandpaper voice just hooked me. ("Bruiser Bedlam" was a 30-minute highlight show that aired at 12pm Sunday. It usually had some sort of Verne Gagne-Nick Bockwinkel match in a cage, and poor Bobby Heenan was wearing "the crimson mask" every time. It was called "Bruiser Bedlam" because Dick the Bruiser and Bob Luce would do commentary on the match like it was happening live; even though it was probably taped at the Chicago Amphitheater in 1975.)
