I think my biggest problem was that this particular match kept jumping back and forth from "real" to "scripted". Like Bagwell was acting like it was all fake, yet La Parka was acting like it was all real. The announcers acted like it was fake, and all of La Parka's friends in the locker room acted like it was real. The crowd acted confused and apathetic.
Looking back on stuff like this is always fun, but I must admit that if I actually was trying to watch and follow this stuff live as it aired, it would have induced migraines.

I miss WCW 1999/2000. Sometimes I look back on it with great fondness, just because it was so crap it became utterly compelling.

Wow, WCW really DID suck back then. I stopped watching wrestling (both WCW and WWF) some time ago, so I didn't have to witness all the really bad worked shoots. Oh, and "Handsome" Whitey Fats: your signature is mesmerizing |
