I actually think El Generico could win the belt someday, mind you it would be quite sometime down the road but he's shown he can be a world champion(He was the PWG world champion) He's obviously way over with the crowd and Morishima showed that the ROH world champion does not need to talk to be the champion so El Genericos lack of speech shouldn't stop him.But i'd say Steen is much more likely to win the belt out of the Steenerico pair.

I agree and disagree. I really think El Generico is like, the smallest man on the ROH roster. Him being champion with the likes of Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Homicide.....I'm sorry. I don't see it, right now anyway.

James Gibson-5'8" - 170 lbs El Generico:5'11" - 188 lbs Oh and to compare El Generico to perhaps the greatest ROH world champion of all time. El Generico:5'11" - 188 lbs Bryan Danielson:5' 10" - 190lbs I'd say it's quite possible.

If you think Danielson is the greatest ROH champion you should be checked into a mental insitution. This is coming from a huge Danielson mark by the way.

I said perhaps.Personally i think he is.So learn to read the post before you post.Knowing your taste you probably think Xavier is the best ROH world champion.

Care to explain your position, cause a whole lot of us consider Danielson the best ROH Champion based on the discussion we had ranking Morishima's reign a few weeks back. Yes, Joe made the belt important, but Danielson took it to another level against better talent.

Why must you try and turn everything in a flame war? It gets really annoying really quick. As far as who I think is the best champion ever is Joe. Yes, Joe made the belt important, but Danielson took it to another level against better talent. Joe made the belt what it is now. Before Joe had captured it it was just another indy belt that really didn't mean a lot. Joe gave it World Title Status and had some of the best Championship matches in his reign. I personally think it goes like this: Joe, Dragon, Aries, Punk, Gibson, Morishima, Homicide, Lo Ki, and Xavier. Nigel isn't listed because he's only just become champion and hasn't really done anything with it yet.

Really, my umbrage was with boldly stating that anyone who put Danielson at 1 was mentally ill. FWIW: Danielson, Joe, Punk, Aries, Morishima, Gibson, Low Ki, Homicide, Xavier.

My vote goes to Danielson for somehow managing to make that belt even MORE prestigious than it was with Joe.
Anywaaaaaay....I'm gonna be hugely pissed if they take my cameras away again this time >_<

We'll know tomorrow night according to the new newswire as to whether or not Nigel will be able to go this weekend or not. Until then I've removed both his matches from the cards for the time being.

Late Breaking News From NOAH Monday, October 29, 2007 GHC Heavyweight Champion Mitsuharu Misawa just sent word through the NOAH offices that he will defend the GHC Heavyweight Title on November 3rd in Manhattan against KENTA. The eyes of the wrestling world will be on Manhattan this Saturday. Get tickets now at www.ROHwrestling.com and www.Tickets.com or by calling 215-781-2500. Misawa wants his appearances in ROH to be as big and important as possible so he will put his title on the line. KENTA has come close to winning the GHC Heavyweight Title in the past and is considered one of NOAH's top stars. He has not fought Misawa in a singles match since he was an upcoming youngster in 2004. KENTA will make the most of this opportunity and promises to give Misawa his toughest fight. Misawa vs. KENTA was a Budokan Hall level main event before, but now the stakes couldn't be any higher. It will be interesting to see how Misawa & KENTA work together as a team when they battle Takeshi Morishima & Naomichi Marufuji on November 2nd in Philadelphia. This once-in-a-lifetime epic tag will feature several interesting match ups including Morishima vs. Misawa and the classic KENTA vs. Marufuji rivalry. This will be the second consecutive year that the GHC Heavyweight Title is defended on "Glory By Honor" weekend. This will be a weekend that Mitsuharu Misawa will always remember as he comes to secure his legacy in the United States. Now Misawa has put the top prize in NOAH on the line.

El Generico v. Hero could/should be great.
And I'm wondering if Saturday will see the end of the Briscoes title reign.
