So the alleged story behind TNA's abrupt firing of Andrew Martin, "Test," is that they wanted to keep a low profile during the whole steroid controversy.
...and yet Scott Steiner still has a job there. I picture some board room meeting with all the TNA higher ups, and Scott Steiner sitting there at the end of the table, "Guys, we've got to get rid of Andrew Martin! With him on our roster, we're practically begging to be investigated!"
Anyone else find the whole thing funny?

Despite all the hilarity, I honestly have no idea why Scott Steiner is employed by any promotion in 2007.
His physique alone is the poster for what wrestlers SHOULDN'T look like.

I think that's actually kind of working in his favor now. Because he is so unique, he's almost like a sideshow freak. And once in a while he can pull out a good match, such as Steiners vs. LAX.

Steiner probably just used his superior linguistic skills to present a reasoned arguement to TNA management why he should remain employed with them.
He does come from a highly educated university, you know.

All Steiner cares about is his freaks and his peaks. Not pills and needles!

Steiner is still a draw and can perform. Test is only interesting when he works with interesting people. Sadly, if CM Punk can't make Test interesting and the Mean Street Posse can, you know you're in trouble. Plus, Test once defended steroid use for "cosmetic purposes."

The fact is that he isn't a guy with a lot of wins since joining TNA might also have something to do with it. I remember he only got about 1 or 2 wins in his first run, and those were to guys like Chase Stevens & Norman Smiley. His second run wasn't much better, and his third run right now is probably the best one, since he's won more.

I thought this was going to be a late realisation about how Test was in a team called T&A and was in the company TNA.

I really don't know if Steiner is on the roids or not but regardless he's entertaining. To me it looks like he just lift weights a lot. Besides, whoever said that if you do roids you're not a good wrestler? Some wrestlers who're praised by IWC and have juiced: Bret, Davey Boy, Harry Smith, Kennedy.....Kennedy, Jericho.

No, the real irony is that Test was actually in a tag team named "T & A" in the WWE.

Most of those people have a fanbase of some sort. I've never seen any "Testies" on Wrestlecrap.

This is why I didn't buy the steroid look being the reason they fired him. Dude was probably a choad backstage.

I thought, as soon as he debuted he wasn't going to be around long, if only for the fact that after the Abyss & Cage feud finished, he would have nothing else to do. He was brought in as an enforcer, and he did that for the 2 shows he was needed for.
