mine is a lot more recent than a lot of your guys(but I've only been a fan since around August 2000, so I missed a lot of stuff).
I'd have to say 2006.
WWE was better than it is now TNA was still pretty good and ROH was having the single best year I've seen one company put on.

Early to Mid Nineties, I'd say around 92-96. I was just getting into puroresu, I learned about ECW, and WCW was going strong.

I would say 1991-1992, since being a kid and getting so into even jobber matches was a lot of fun, but, to be honest, I'm REALLY enjoying wrestling today, since I love watching ROH.

Late 80s-Early 90s WWF. It was when I started watching wrestling and I was in awe of the Ultimate Warrior. Then of course, the Monday Night Wars. I got to witness BATB 96 for free on Galaxy (Australia's first cable TV provider, they use to show WCW PPVs for free on Fox Sports) from then on I was hooked, although I preferred the WWF around the time of Austin's rise to the top/Vince turns heel. 2000 WWF was freakin' awesome though...

Other than deaths, now's not really a bad time for wrestling. I like it in that I don't know what may happen next.

WWF 1984-1987 you had the Piper/Hogan feud that basically started wrestling getting into the mainstream. Awesome workers such as Andre, Studd, Adonis, 1-Derful, Orton, Sheik and Volkoff, Bundy, Savage, Santana, The Bulldogs, crap I could go on forever. Such great times getting up at 10am to watch Superstars with that "Thriller" song. Going EVERY month to the Rosemont Horizon to see WWF and only paying $12 for ringside seats. Man I miss those times.
NWA- 1985-1987. The Four Horsemen, Dusty Rhodes, Magnum TA, Race, Midnight Express/Rock and Roll Express Feud. Need I say more?
