I know that WWE 24/7 aired IWC/AAA "When Worlds Collide" at least once... You are talking about the Lucha Libre "When Worlds Collide" PPV, right? In any case, that was a great show - especially the tag match featuring Eddie Guerrero + Sex Machine (Art Barr).

That's a great show, I highly recommend it. Not a dud match on the card, and the match between Octagon and El Hijo Del Santo and Barr and Guerrero is outstanding.
That was an odd show. IT was co-produced by WCW, but they did very little promotion for it (even on their own shows) so it was not a success financially. Great card though.

But I bought it, so it should be labeled a success. And I was considered cheap back then. But, who's gonna turn down paying $14.95 for a wrestling show? They did push WCW Clash of the Champions and Starrcade '94 a lot during the program. And this was the show that got Louie Spicolli a job with the WWF.

That tag main event was one of the best tag matches I've ever seen. Not a dud in the bunch. Barr and Guerrero were awesome heat magnets.

This show made me an instant fan of Eddie Guerrero. Shame Art Barr passed away not too long after; they'd have been big stars in ECW.
(Eddie was offered a spot in ECW not long after this match. It was supposedly supposed to be Los Gringos Locos in a featured tag role, but Art's passing changed plans. Eddie's first appearance in ECW, he wore the American flag tights and debuted the frog splash as a tribute to his friend.)

Yeah, Art had his share of problems outside the ring, but man the guy could work in it.

They were all trying to get them but they were going to go to ECW. But they were a hot team

English. Mike Tenay and Chris Cruise do the announcing. Oh God...Tenay??? Before you go nuts, this is NOT the TNA style Tenay. He's more subdued and offers a lot of insight on the luchas. I thought this was a great pairing for this PPV.

It sounds like a name I should remember? He was a WCW announcer in the early 90's. Did mostly WCW Saturday Night I think...or maybe Worldwide. Best pic i could find of him:
