Not sure if this should go here or in off-topic, but it's about a wrestling game, so here seems okay. So here I am, ready to give my drugstore clerk dollars for Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on PS3 this Tuesday, when I log onto Amazon.com and see that my love of searching for video games and wrestling related merch has caused them to recommend this: ps2.ign.com/objects/745/745588.htmlUntil a couple of days ago, I had no idea this was coming out. Now, I've never actually pursued the Fire Pro series before, but at $19.99, this may be hard to pass up. I suppose I could get both, even though I'd ultimately play one over the other. What do you guys think?

Right now, I'm leaning towards both. Or I might get Fire Pro, and ask for SvR for Christmas.
And who's the wiseguy who picked option 4?

Fire Pro is a much much more rewarding and realistic game. The Smackdown series has gone from being enjoyable and enthralling (Here comes the pain) to frustrating beyond belief in the latest editions.

SVR gets my vote, only because it has a non-caw'ed full entrance full moves Sabu.

I'm surprised at all the "Go Outside" votes. It's like they're looking at my "Now Playing" list in my sig and assume I play all those everyday. I don't, believe me. Most of those games I haven't played in a week or longer.

You won't be able to get Fire Pro unless you buy it online, more than likely.
But you might as well.

If you have to choose, Fire Pro.
If you have the cash for both, get both.
I would buy both buy I opted for Mario Galaxy over SVR since I know I can get that for Christmas.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...suckeeerrrrr." -THQ The only redeeming quality I found in 08 was flaming tables, CM Punk, Sandman, and Jeff Hardy, and hell, I've got lighttubes and explosions in Fi-Pro Returns, and I can make the other 3 things. Fi-Pro Returns.

I've decided that I'm absolutely getting Fire Pro, though I may still get SvR with it if I got the scratch. Otherwise, that's what Santy Claus is for. And what's this about how I may only be able to buy online? No B&M's carrying it?

So, is this game going to be available in stores or only online? I have a ton of games that I don't play anymore that I was planning on trading in to get Guitar Hero 3 and one other game.
I just checked Gamestop's website and they have it on there. I don't see why it wouldn't be at B&M Gamestop stores as well.
