Out of curiosity, where is the best place to buy from online??? I can't find it in AZ yet and if I can't find it Saturday, I'm gonna do it online. Any help will get you a gold star. Not the Kid Nation one, but a fun wacky pic version.

I went with Buy because it was eight freakin' dollars, but, I'll probably end up changing it to Amazon since I know for a fact (?) they have it. The thing is, the 13th was the SHIPPING date for the game, which means it'll ship from the company on that day and get to the warehouses the next day at the EARLIEST, and then 3-5 business days from the warehouse to the store. That's why EB changed their date to the 23rd or whatever it is; that's when they'll actually GET it. Budget titles don't ship overnight like, for example, an Assassin's Creed or Mario Galaxy did. That's why a lot of stores have different dates, but, why Game Crazy is saying it came out two weeks ago, I'll never know. I just learned all of that. I r so smrt. |

Your best bet is to go to a local gaming store, that's what I did. But there's a million of them in NYC, I don't know how the rest of the country is.

Hrm. I just found out that Buy.com decided not to give me the $10 for using Google Checkout after all and upped my price to $27.89. Maybe look out for that if you ordered from Buy. ....*cancel, orders from Amazon* Man, I wish I would have done that yesterday since I have something from Amazon coming today already.  |

Hey Survivalism, I ordered from Buy.com also, and I had thought they had done the same thing to me.
It's explained in one of the confirmation emails I think...if not there...then somewhere on the site...that the $10 off will only show on your google checkout receipt, and not the buy.com receipt of purchase.
Check your email from google, it should have $12.89 as the price. Hope that helps.
However, I ordered it with 1-day shipping...and I don't even think I'll have it by Friday. I'm really starting to think about cancelling from Buy.com as well...but I don't think I'll find a price that beats $12.89, while still being able to play it by next week.

i have called a million places trying to get this game and i cant find it. only one place said they might be getting it tom. but, they could not confirm it. I talked to a friend that works at gamestop and he actually knows what fire pro is said. They will not get it till next week sometime and due to rock band and thankgiving thats why it was delayed at gamestop. so hopefully i can get it from the mom and pop store in greensboro nc. thats where i live but, i even called in charlotte nc and they dont even have it. alot of people i called said some people were calling about the same thing but, didnt have an answer cause it wasnt in the computer.

It's getting average to good reviews. I may buy it. I hated the one on the Dreamcast due to it's controls, graphics and gameplay but it's been long enough to warrant giving it another shot.

Fire Pro Returns being out of stock at Amazon.ca makes me a sad panda. Also, I will now hate anyone with the passion of a thousand burning suns if they buy two copies for themselves (As in, buying two copies, and not giving one to a friend/relative/etc.). Seriously, this game is damn hard enough to find. STILL have to order this f***ing game. |
