Who could they get to take over for these two. They are just awful. I loved Bobby Heenan as a color guy...if they could get him, i don't know what state he's currently in though. Who do you guys think would make a good announce team for TNA? They need to address this issue.
I think it would be a good idea to bring back a charasmatic former wrestler. I think Jericho or Austin would make good color guys. Are there any former TNA guys you can think of that would be good for the job?

Simon Diamond did a great job when he was on guest commentary. I'm thinking him as a heel commentator and possibly Borash doing play-by-play.

Scott Steiner and Abyss.
Seriously, though, I'd go with Borash on play-by-play and maybe Cornette on color.

Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman....now THAT would be an interesting combo.

I can put up with Tenay, but DW needs to go back to the home shopping network.

I've had enough from Cornette recently, I don't know that I'd like him on commentary. His voice is annoying after a very short time.
Who I'd like to hear on commentary... hmm....
Stevie Ray Shane Douglas Third person be a wrestler on the roster, preferably in a program, this slot would rotate weekly. It'd be a good way to push an extra angle every week without having large interview segments.

I could definitely go for a Borash/Cornette crew...Morgan looks good as a replacement for GM/Commish whatever they wanna call it

In this case, I'd much rather have no one. Seriously, I have eyes, I can see what's going on. This is one reason why I like PWG.

I forgot about Douglas, he would probably make a great color guy

Shane Douglas or Steve Corino need to be on air every week in the US. Both of them could be great at it. However, there has to be a babyface/neutral play by play guy to spar with them. I'd think that, when his wrestling days are over, Dustin Rhodes [yes, Goldust] would also make a good announcer. Really, this issue is that the two announcers now are selling the product. Put a true heel in there with them and make them work the commentary, and they won't have to sell the match.

Scott Hudson and Kevin Nash. Nash shouldn't be in the ring and Hudson is seriously underrated.

Never in my entire life have I been so elated by the title of a thread topic, and then so MASSIVELY disappointed to find it wasn't a news post.
Thanks a lot.

My dream TNA announce team...
Play-by-Play - Jeremy Borash Color - Kevin Nash Backstage - Scott Hudson Ring Announcer - Dave Penzer
I always liked Tenay's gimmick of being the "international" guy in WCW...that would be cool...whenever an NJPW or AAA guy comes in, bring in Tenay to give the skinny.
I can't stand how much it sounds like Tenay and West's lines are all scripted for Impact! and fed to them for the PPVs.

Tony Schaivone or Scott Hudson as Lead PBP with maybe somebody like Simon Diamond doing color.

I think Tenay and West are great calling the action, but they need to have their mics cut during promo time.
Hall: Hey yo Tenay: That's his signature catch phrase Me: Well duh... you'd have to be living under a rock not to know that

How about someone new? I am sure there are huge wrestling fans, with degrees in Sports Broadcasting. Get someone fresh out there. I am tired of the "old guard" of re-hashed announcers. TNA needs to get their own identity. Like Joey Styles was for ECW. Not that extreme though. Someone in their mid-late twentys with knowledge of the business, and a non-regional voice. Team him with a wrestler such as Nash, Douglas, or Diamond and your good.
