I met Mick Foley and Ric Flair at book signings. Didn't talk much because the line was huge and I didn't want to hold them up, and they were both visibly tired, but both were extremely accomodating in spite of which. Two class acts to their fans.

I met Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy in one of the bathrooms of the Atlanta airport when I was 6 or 7. Completely scared of him (because he was a heel), I nagged my dad to get his autograph, not knowing how completely rude that was. Luckily, Gordy overheard this, came over laughing, said hello, and wound up autographing a picture of the 'Birds inside of the Pro Wrestling Illustrated that I had in my backpack.
That's the only wrestler I ever met, but it was pretty darn cool, especially at that age.

I've met a bunch of guys from the FIP shows including Jigsaw, Hallowicked, Sweeney, Claudio Castagnoli, The Briscoes and I met Chris Hero at the Jeff Peterson Cup.
All of the mentioned guys are super nice and cool but my favorite encounter with wrestlers at a show was hanging out with BxB Hulk and YAMATO and having YAMATO stop us to take a group picture for his US vacation reel.

I met The Rock and Roll Epress back in 92 or 93 or so. They wrestled in my school's gym. I saw a bunch of other NWA guys of the time there too, but I don't remember anyone else clearly. The Rock and Rolls were the only ones I met.
in '02, I met Harley Race and all the WLW guys at the show they did here. I watched them set up the ring, and chatted with alot of them. Some famous names include Trevor Rhodes(who's better known as Trevor Murdoch), Ace Steel, Wild Wade Chism, The DI, War Cloud, and Heather Savage. I also had the pleasure of sitting behind and chatting with Harley's grandaughters through the whole show. Their dad, and his son in law, is evil heel manager Johnny Gold, who was a nice guy before the show, and fun to trade insults with during. He told me to get a hair cut, I told him to grow some hair. Man, indy shows are great.

All at the IWA-MS Ted Petty Invitational 2007, which I flew from Miami to Chicago for.
Chris Hero. Nice, but the kind of guy that seems to never break character. Oh well.
Jimmy Jacobs. So great. I told him I was a big fan. He had this jar to help pay for his medical bills. I told him I'm sorry for only had 4 bucks on me and I put it in his jar. He thanked me and actually gave me a free 8x10 with a personalized autograph.
I was at a merch table and Bryce Remsberg and Eddie Kingston saw me with my wallet out, so they tried to get me to buy certain stuff. Kinda funny. Ended up buying a "Support Indy Wrestling" shirt from Bryce.
Nigel McGuinness. Funny story about him. Met him on night 1 of TPI 07. Uber nice, and I bought a shirt from him. Great guy all around. Night 2 rolls around, and we are looking for a parking space. Lo and behold who do we see pull out but Nigel. After some debate,me and my group of guys take his spot. After the show we saw him as we went to our car. We apologized for taking his spot. He then called us "F***ers" and jokingly said he will lariat us all next time he saw us. I still will try to avoid him when ROH goes to Orlando though.

mazing Kong, Very sweet, funny and great to talk with, cool as hell, got to shake hands with her and her autograph. You wouldnt think she would be all lovely and sweet outside the ring but man she was great with a load of Japanese kids that she met with.Great lady. I have a bit of a crush on Kong, mainly based on how awesomely nice and friendly she was when she wasn't working... also, she has a lovely smile out-of-character. Yes, Pac is great - watched him do a flippy off a traffic barrier on his way to a show, and we all yelled out "boom!" and he turned around and cracked up laughing. 2.Tracy Smothers w/ Waterfalls of Sweet on his Body. Mmmmm... waterfalls of sweet...
