What current TNA wrestlers do you guys feel have risen above the status of being "just another WWE guy" and have established themselves in TNA?
I think the guy at the top of the list would have to be Christian Cage. He was destined to be a WWE midcarder for life, and when it seemed like he was going to feud with John Cena, he gets moved to Smackdown and loses his push and just about every match he's in. Since coming to TNA, his character and ability has been given room to shine, and he's been given a chance to show that he can carry a company.

Definitely Christian. Out of whoever else is listed here, he's reinvented himself the most (even if his basic gimmick isn't all that different (stick with what works)) and found the most success. I'd put Tomko in second somewhere.

Rikishi. J/k.
Yeah, def. Christian and Tomko. Kurt's been okay in "TNA-ing" himself, but that just might come with him being the TNA champion, and that's the most "un-WWE" thing someone can do. But I don't think Kurt's gone "for the better" in TNA the way that Christian has, and Tomko has well.
Also, Christy Hemme. I loved her last year as a backstage person with Borash. They made an aweosme team. Her 'heel' turn sucked, but she hasn't been too bad lately.

I agree with the previous posts, plus Gail Kim.

I agree with the previous posts, plus Gail Kim. That was going to be my pick, too. Ron Killings is up there, though he didn't do much as K-Kwik.

JJ is seen as WCW jetsam, though, mostly.

Cage, Tomko, and possibly Rhino.
But Rhino I will always equate to ECW. Same with the Dudleys.

I see Kazarian as a former WCW guy, I didn't even know he was in the E until I saw it mentioned here.
But Christian wins this award.

Really, I would say any guy who has found a great amount of success in TNA. Guys like VKM are the only ones I'd list as still being seen as ex-communicated WWE guys.
Even Kurt Angle has become a "TNA guy" in my mind, through constantly associating with the likes of Borash and Nash.

I have to agree with several of the posters here and say hands down Christian. Cage has really stepped up his game, both in ring and out, since jumping to TNA a couple of years back.

He's definitely distanced himself from his WWE tenure. Understand that? Or d-d-d-d-did I stutter? ;D

The only ones I really consider are Christian Cage and maybe Tomko. They're pretty much the only ones who weren't brought in for the "take *that* WWE!!!1" bulls***, besides maybe Rhino.
