"Dave Meltzer is reporting that Hall was eating egg salad backstage before the pay per view, and had a bad abdominal reaction to it and couldn't make it out to the ring." DAMN THAT EGG SALAD

My take on it is that the whole "taping 3 weeks of shows in advance" thing just bit them on the ass and they went with this to try and make an angle out of it.

Feast or Fired pisses me off cause it's obvious: World: BG James Tag: Petey Williams X-Division: Scott Steiner Fired: Senshi It's blatantly obvious. Close. World: Petey Williams Tag: Scott Steiner X-Division: Senshi Knockouts: BG James Fired: Scott Hall (this was predetermined with a 5th briefcase nobody knew about. )

If Hall did no show, how many times has this happened to TNA? Nash twice, Waltman 2 or 3 times and, same for Jeff Hardy. Am I forgetting any?

I think when Joe looked down at somebody and went "What? Are you pissed? What are you gonna do fire me?" proved to me it was a pure shoot.
Makes me happy/

It's a work, remember everyone being so excited about that TNA PPV poster that showed all the young guys on it and left Angle and them out. Yeah New Blood Vs. Millionaires club again

"Dave Meltzer is reporting that Hall was eating egg salad backstage before the pay per view, and had a bad abdominal reaction to it and couldn't make it out to the ring." Not true Agreed. They wouldn't pull something like that due to bad egg salad. On why they went with Eric Young: 1) He's someone that the Orlando crowd reacts to. Chris Harris and Kaz aren't as over as Eric is, and their appearences would have just made the live crowd angry. 2) He's a face. The obviously stunned crowd would have crapped all over Christopher Daniels or James Storm. 3) He's homegrown. Just imagine what the IWC would be saying right now if an either an "import" (Matt Morgan, Booker T) or even Jeff Jarrett would have filled in. Why I think that this wasn't a work: 1) To Kevin Nash, walking forwards is considered to be a "high-risk move." He ended up wrestling roughly half of that match. Do you really think he would have taken a chance like that for a "work?" 2) This killed the unusually hot crowd. Why risk it for a stupid angle? 3) Nash looked legitimately upset and disappointed. I know that he tried to "play it up" like the Angle Alliance did, but it came through. Other random comments: 1) For the millionth time - Vince Russo does book TNA. Jeff Jarrett does. Just because he's on the team doesn't mean that he controls it. 2) Kurt Angle's in-character facial expressions were great. He was really trying his best to make it about as "not awkward" as possible. 3) I find it amazing that Eric Young almost pulls off an F-U (slightly botched due to his elbow injury) on Tomko and all anyone can say is "Damn Russo... I hates him!"

for all the "russo isn't booking' arguements why do most of these arguements have an air of russo.
I think they say that JArrett and dutch get the most power, so that Russo doesn't get blamed.

Listening to PWInsider's post PPV audio right now. Hall is/was a legit no show. He claimed to have food poisoning and went back and forth all night with TNA management on whether or not he would be there.
EDIT: On Rhino, he either has a neck injury or some personal issues and needs some time off so TNA has given him some time off.

I won't know for sure either way, unless I see Hall on RAW Monday night.

Hey, isn't this the second time Rhino ended up missing a PPV? I think he missed a tag match at Slammi this year.

Hey, isn't this the second time Rhino ended up missing a PPV? I think he missed a tag match at Slammi this year. Nope, Rhino and Senshi beat LAX at Slammiversary this year. Senshi replaced Chris Harris. Harris was removed to be in the main event because of Jarrett's wife.

Yeah, but anytime an angle is booked that someone doesn't like they say it has "an air of Russo." If Russo was employed by the WWE as the guy they send to Starbucks to buy lattes, 90% of their storylines would be blamed on him too. Oh, I've been wanting to crack wicked jokes about this all night, but someone else was told to play in traffic for doing the same thing. I can't help it I have a black, black sense of humor.
