I can't believe how scripted everything is. I would love to see a WWE one and compare them. Kevin Nash said in his shoot that absolutely everything in WWE is scripted. He stated that "Raw" is the worst possible name for that show, as everything is processed right down to the crowd noise. It WAS assumed that TNA allowed more freedom. Rhino and Christian openly said so. I recall him saying, "Nobody hands me script here. I'm not some bullsh*t actor. They hand me a microphone and I say what I want." Perhaps that used to be the case under the last booking regime with Scott D'Amore, Jarrett and Mike Tenay. But if that was true, sadly it's not anymore

I saw it, and I wonder if people will hate a bunch of segments cause Russo was producing them.
"You know, that AJ thing was funny as hell. Booker's interview was good too...."
"You know, Russo produced that."
"Really? Ummm..It's crap! All Crap! Fire Russo!"

"Really? Ummm..It's crap! All Crap! Fire Russo!" Well to be fair, Sinister, this script confirms the reports that the Knockout's division is produced by Russo's predecessor, Scott D'Amore and has been scoring the highest ratings of all the Impact segments. I've also seen critics claim the the Knockout's division is the best booked part of TNA. So even if Russo's stuff is ok, the material being produced by the guy he replaced is outshining the Russo segments.

Russo produces the backstage interviews/skits, which are actually my favorite parts of the shows. 99% of them are pure gold.

Thought that he was trying to get into WWE and stuff and get his people there. Must have been newz then.

Hey, did anyone keep a copy of this? I was kinda curious to see what goes into making a script, but didn't want to spoil the show. PM if you do.

BTW, I thought D'amore wasn't working TNA anymore. Thought that he was trying to get into WWE and stuff and get his people there. Must have been newz then. He was backstage at the last Wrestlemania, so maybe he was trying to get work. Still he get's 'demoted' essentially, from booking the whole show to the women's division and what happens? The rest of the show gets worse, and the women's division becomes a strong ratings draw. At the same time he was 'demoted' one of his protege's Petey Williams suddenly jobbed to James Storm three ppvs in a row (to the exact same move each time) before disappearing off of TV for months until very recently.

Well for you folks who didn't read it it was basically the entire show spelled out.
Each segment would list a producer (Vince Russo, Glen Gilberti, Dlo Brown and Scott D'Amore for that segment.
Then they would say for example like Kurt Angle [Heel] Entrance and Music followed by a word for word description of what he's going to say. "Christian, I'm an Olympic Gold Medalist, blah blah "
I was really shocked by HOW scripted the show is. I figured they would at least give veterans like Booker and Christian the opportunity to choose their own words as long as they hit certain points.

You might not be able to edit them... maybe when I'm at home I'll fire up the Acrobat Pro and get a little editty on their collective asses. Failing that, I can put some pretty sweet notes on there. Curses! I'll get you Spike, and your little Acrobat Pro too!

for anyone who can't dl or see it, or even those that do, Between the Ropes has a small segment on their analysis of a few parts the script at around the 1:20:00 mark
...It's pretty hilarious.
