Doug Williams Jinsei Shinzaki Steve Williams Barry Windham Minoru Suzuki (Guy has the best championship reign of 2007, and no one talks about him) Minoru has impressed me with the limited amount of his work I've seen. He's got a badass entrance, one of the best I've ever seen. He's got to be doing pretty well if you'd rank him over Morishima. Morishima is a little underrated. I've never seen a champ so fiercely hunted, with guys like Claudio, Nigel and AmDrag. Everyone's waiting for him to lose it, but I'm wondering how long he can keep up the anticipation.

That's true. He was always solid. Too bad he never could stay slim.

Perry Saturn's a good choice. With his look and style in ECW, I think he'd be a bigger deal if he'd come around in 2007 instead of 1997, for sure. Especially in places like TNA, ROH, and overseas.
And Barry Windham's a good call. A total natural who could work an exciting main-event style against any opponent. When Windham was in his mid-20s, he was roughly 25 times the worker that Randy Orton is.

Akira Taue Gran Hamada Akira Maeda Nobuhiko Takada Shinjiro Ohtani Maeda might be underrated here, but he sure as hell isn't in Japan.

I agree re: Ron Killings, Justin Credible Perry Saturn, and Gangrel being underrated as wrestlers. But what about Vampiro, or Kanyon?
I'd say that Jerry Lynn was very underrated until his five-star matches with RVD got everyone to wake up and pay attention to him.

Yes. He's become fodder these days, but the man was VERY talented and never got nearly the push he deserved

Justin Credible definitely. I feel one of the reasons CM Punk got the launch he did was because of his match with Justin Credible, and he really helped Punk out (as Punk did Credible, and it sucked he didn't last long in ECW).
But yeah, Basham and Damaja are definitely underrated. Both WWE and TNA missed the boat on these guys big time.
