That could be or a heel vs. heel match would be very boring, so they went with the more over face in Shawn Michaels. Why exactly would the casual fan vote for Kennedy anyways? A little thing called Charisma maybe? Or how about being able to wrestle? More than Shawn Michaels though?

Again, WWE rigged the "vote" by putting a completely obvious winner candidate versus two candidates who didn't have a chance of winning. I don't think Austin has EVER lost a WWE poll. This is why I hate having the fans decide who will win. "Democracy" is very boring when the WWE rigs it from the get-go.

I was thinking it was rigged only because if not, they'd have to have everyone's pyro set to go at any time.

Kennedy is only over among smarks, and not even all of them.
He's 50/50 on the net.
So you take a segment of fans that only represents about 10% of the voting, split it in half and you have why Kennedy didn't get any votes.

I can see how people like HBK more than Kennedy and Hardy. But it's seriously annoying when a drug addicted spot monkey does better than someone who works hard to get where he is and hasn't no showed an event because he was strung out on heroin. Yes, someone who works hard and lies on blogs and on tv about how clean he's been since the wellness policy took effect, someone who is just as unreliable as Hardy (not for drugs though, but for injuries), yes, a much better alternative. Hardy is popular, and Kennedy is a one-note heel who's gimmick got stale the night he kept saying his name after "injuring" Bobby Lashley. Oh yeah, and he's a lot more svelt and unintimidating than he used to be, that's for sure. Kennedy's gimmick is 90% mic work, and if you take that away, he's just an average wrestler.

I voted JBL as a ref, he was the man I ffelt actually did enough onscreen to justify it, but I wil say...
HBK...again? why not just include him in it and we vote a 3rd person to make it a 3 way dance?

*Ahem. WE don't make the choices. WE don't decide.
THEY want us to believe that we do, so we get that warm, snuggily feeling in our bellies. It's all a giant crock.

I've noticed a growing backlash against Kennedy among smarks, so that coupled with the fact that marks won't vote for a heel is probably why he scored so low in the voting.

It makes perfect sense for one of the most over people on the entire roster beat a heel in a poll for a title match.

Yeah, it dates back to him saying how the Wellness Program got him off steroids and how legitimate WWE's drug policy is and all that nonsense. Then..... HE AND S***LOADS OF OTHER WWE "STARS" GOT FINGERED FOR USING DRUGS!!! It is a lol moment for the ages. WWE "stars" think they can "work the world" by lying about their own drug policy. They CAN'T!!

This is why I hate having the fans decide who will win. "Democracy" is very boring when the WWE rigs it from the get-go. Hilariously, Austin lost a poll once where they asked if you'd rather drink a beer with Austin or a protein shake with Simon Dean. The fans actually remembered Austin stuns everyone he drinks with, and voted Dean. Comedy gold. But yeah, CS voting is lame when they put in people with no chance of winning. Which is what they always do. I can't believe they even put up some of these choices... like "verbal debate" last year between Coach and Batista. It's rigged but not in the cheating way. It's rigged in the lame way.
