While I'm waiting for my induction of "The Revolution Declaring Themselves as a Country". I found another, well...gem.
WWE.com recently released their Top 25 Bizarre Matches. The site inducted MOST of these matches but I'm surprised this one wasn't inducted yet.
The APA's Bar Room Brawl!
I mean you had The Easter Bunny wrestling, Brian Kendrick (then known as "Spanky") dancing a jig, Brother Love immediately saying this match will BLOW, & appearances from "The Brooklyn Brawler" & FACE Doink!

Thanks for that clip Demons. I loved Funaki during that whole thing; it was as if he didn't read the last word on his invitation that said "brawl" and just showed up to a bar room.

Suggestion for a "It came from Youtube":
Ranger Danger introduced cartoons & wrestling on WXXA Fox 23 in Albany. There were 100's of 30 second Ranger Danger sketches produced. The man who played the Ranger was a popular local radio DJ "Uncle Vito." My father's best friend worked at the TV station, and was one of the guys who came up with these "so bad-they're good" sketches. as a result I would get comp tickets to WWF events in Albany. The Ranger would often be there, eating 5 cotton candies, 5 popcorns, 5 pretzels, 5 dogs, and a mega gulp beer. He'd go in the ring and do something stupid like trip on the canvas and give the station a plug. As a result of WXXA & the WWF's working relationship, the Ranger provided us with these interviews, only seen by the eyes of Capitaland. One is a hard hitting interview with Hulk about Mr. Nanny. Hulk's attempt to cover for wearing a tutu is so bad.
Hulk messed up the Ranger's stupid catchphrase.
I think Paul Bearer's acting in these is so great!

Surprised that in the weeks after he was fired, nobody has posted asking for Bubba the Love Sponge's tenure in TNA to be inducted.
Unless maybe that's being saved/nominated for the Gooker?

Ah yes, that def deserves to be inducted. I got a few more... -The Battle over the WWE Hall of Fame rings in TNA -The guest hosts for Raw; that had nothing to do with wrestling, IE: Buzz Aldrin, Jon Lovitz, ZZ Top etc. -The Bret Hart / Vince McMahon feud of 2010 -The Knockouts Tag Team Titles -TNA Impact (The Game) -The Orlando Screwjob 1 & 2

Was the Super Mario Bros. show starring Captain Lou Albano ever inducted?

I have another one, but I'm not sure if RD would consider this, since it was a multiple-time event.
How about the whole Cyber Sunday concept?

has roddy piper's short-lived music career been mentioned anywhere on this site yet?
in case you don't know, or completely blocked it out of your memory, piper was signed to a record deal in 1992 by sony, and released a single in europe. not to mention, an equally embarrassing / corny as all hell music video for it.
since, I'm not that familiar yet on how to post youtube clips on this forum (it's against the rules here anyway, isn't it?), I'll do the blade braxton thing: go to youtube. type in: roddy piper, I'm your man. click on the first clip you see listed, posted by "nWoNitro". wait for the 0:30 mark, and let it play up to 3:32.
I think it's safe to say that ol' "hot rod" and sony owes the entire european continent an apology..
and I probably owe this whole thread an apology for taking away a few minutes of your time on earth that you'll never get back.
sorry.
peace.

I'll continue to hold out hope for Unforgiven 2002 - featuring such gems as the Billy & Chuck / 3 Minute Warning match, the first defense of the World title not being Raw's main event with that honor instead going to a Trish Stratus / Molly Holly match, and the show ending on a DQ or count out or something after Lesnar needed random help from Matt Hardy to survive the Undertaker, among other greatness - and the Sting / Abyss feud.
Also the WrestleMania 19 game, for its glorious story mode.

HERE'S a wild card:
the "twizzle" episode of "the dick van dyke show" w. a guest appearance by freddie blassie.
two reasons alone make this a contender:
1. this is the least favorite episode of the DVDS cast and crew.
2. blassie was referred to in the episode as a "champion", but he was only recognized as a champion in california, and the show was based in new york.
this episode, along with the rest of the series, can be viewed on hulu.com.

how about the angle where sensational sherri, who was with shawn michaels at the time, ends up falling for rick martel, and it led to a match between the two at summerslam 1992, and despite the "no hitting in the face" clause (thank you sherri), it was actually an awesome encounter..... until sherri "faints", and ruins the whole thing?
it's a bit painful since I enjoy sherri, michaels and martel, but this angle, while it started interesting enough, just ended strangely for me.
the only good part about the final ("fainting") part was, of course, the kibitzing back and forth between vince mcmahon and bobby heenan on commentary.
mcmahon: is that Jupiter? heenan: no, it's the moon!

Miss Wrestlemania should get an Induction. If they only two people to hold the title are Santina Marella and Vickie Guerrero, you're Wrestlecrap.
I'd also like to see the Heart Throbs in an induction if they already haven't.

If the John Cena album didn't make you totally intolerant of rap albums by wrestlers, then you've got to address the Macho Man's brief venture into hip-hop.
Even though the song is surprisingly catchy, in its own weird way, the fact remains that RANDY SAVAGE IS CHALLENGING HULK HOGAN TO A REAL-LIFE FIGHT VIA A RAP CD.
Haven't listened to the rest of the Be A Man album, but if you can do it for the Cena CD, surely you can give this whole thing a listen, eh?
