I love the song.
It's just that Rick rolling is the most ridiculous thing on the internet:
Some random goober: Hee hee! I'm going to promise this person a hot chick and then surprise him with Rick Astly!"

First off, he is Rick Ashtley. I am so tired of these kids getting his name wrong. Second, I am way over the whole Rick Rolling thing. Third, Rick Ashtley was probably the best case i've ever seen for reverse discrimination. The guy had a great voice and everyone was digging his songs until they found out he was a ginger and not Luther Vandross. I think the guy could have had a great career but people saw what he looked like and couldnt take him serious. More over, they worked really hard to make him a teen idol when I think he had a lot of potential as a serious musican. But 15 years after the fact, I think its a little too late to find out what might have been. Ummm ... it's Rick Astley. Not sure where you got that from. But anyway, I love the song. Usually sing it with a few of my friends. ok, my spelling mistake aside( that will teach me to stay up this late.) my view on the disintergation of rick astley's career is supported by the bit they did on him on the I love the 80's/90's, i forget which since i am still exhausted. anyway, the folks on there pretty much all said they thought he was awesome until they saw he was a ginger, then they just made fun of him.

It's a cheesy feel good song, lol. What's not to love.
Well except the style of fashion back then, what is going on there?

I like it. Don't see why people would say it's bad, but everyone has different tastes.

Rick Astley, his music, his videos and his dancing are absolutely freaking awesome. You are the d-bag if you don't enjoy it.

I actually like this song, and find it ridiculous that it's used as some kind of prank now-a-days.
It'll be like someone saying "Hey man, you want a piece of bubble gum?" "Yeah." "Too bad, here's a hundred dollar bill! You got Rick Rolled! I got you sucker!" "Okay.... cool."
Everytime I get "Rick Rolled" I just think to myself "Cool."

As cheesy as the song is, its still easier to listen to than most of the drek that makes up top 40 radio these days.

I think Rick Astley rules because to see him and hear him are two different things. When I first heard that song on the radio, I had no idea it would be THAT dude belting it out. Initially I (as many) believed him to be a black guy. At the very least not THAT white guy.
