I agree fully. The only way I would go see this movie is .... Okay, there is no way that I would see this turd. Friends of mine invited me over and made me sit through Date Movie. I, in turn, decided that turnabout is fair play, so I made them sit though Freddie Got Fingered. And I figure Date Movie was bad enough, so I never saw Epic Movie. And now basically they're making Spartan Movie. When I saw the first trailer for this movie (with the break dancing) I almost punched my computer monitor in disgust.

Will you watch this movie? Not even if I were paid. Speaking of which, who the f*** is paying to have these movies made? As I understand it, "Epic Movie" was a bomb. Why would a studio back a movie that's filled with moronic cliches and obviously unfunny skits? If they're just looking to flush money down the toilet, give it to me. I'll benefit from it more. And I'll send you a thank you card too.

Only if they hire weird al, the zucker brothers, and mel brooks to do a last minute rewrite to make it, you know, funny.

I've got a question. Do the people that play in these movies actually go out on talk shows and promote this stuff? I mean they can't take this shit seriously can they? How could they show their face in public and shill this shit proudly?

No. And it frustrates me to no end that one of my best friends wants to see it, and I might get dragged along. I probably won't have anything better to do.

You would have to pay ME to get me to see another one of these things that some people are referring to as "movies".
And even then it's a big question mark.

Ok, here's some important details:
The writers are Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. They were the ones who made Scary Movie, Date Movie, and Epic Movie: WHY ARE THEY BEING ALLOWED TO DO THIS AGAIN?!?!?!
And do you know which idiots are actually sponsoring this: 20TH CENTURY FOX!!!! OF ALL THE FILM COMPANIES, WHY ONE OF THE MOST MAJOR!!!! WHY WOULD YOU SPONSOR THIS?!?!
Epic Movie 1 BOMBED: $86,749,571 WORLDWIDE!!!!! On a $20 million budget, that's $66 million NET PROFIT: THAT IS A BOMB!!!!!!
Now Fox is giving these idiots $75 MILLION TO MAKE A SEQUEL!!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY IS IT THAT HARD TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING ORIGINAL?!?!?!?!

Parody movies and music are the lowest form of entertainment. They are made by people who lack the talent to write something good on their own, so they steal other things and make (attempt) to make them funny. Hacks I say, all of them. So, no. I won't see this film. Disagree.

Just like Wrestlecrap... you can only make a good parody if you completely love what you're parodying. Otherwise, it's no longer a witty joke and just an hour and a half of, "Look at all these movies we hate! I bet we can put fart jokes and pointless pop-culture trivia in ALL of them!"

Saying that this movie will suck total ass is pretty much beating a dead horse at this point.
So now I ask a new question: Who the hell actually pays good money to see these turds? I don't understand. There is no value to these things. And sure, the dumbass who plans to make out/rape his girlfriend during the movie won't care which one it is, but c'mon! Wouldn't you feel more sophisticated raping your girlfriend to "There Will Be Blood"? By Gawd!!!!

Sigh. Remember when parody films were actually, y'know, funny? That was before somebody decided that parody movies needed to be dumbed down to the level of 12 year old kiddies. Scary movie was the last funny one IMO. The starting with SM2 they got worse and worse. It became all about gay jokes, fart jokes and Michael Jackson jokes (because those arent incredibly old by now ) or in this case K-Fed and Britney

I like these movies. They're not quality I know, but they're enjoyable and they do what they were made for, make me laugh (not saying they were made to only make ME laugh, but they were made to get laughs from people and they got them).
This one has Nicole Parker in a small role. So yeah, I'll see it

Now I can appreciate how important a sense of humor is in a relationship. For example, I want nothing to do with a woman that finds these types of movies remotely funny.
