Winter Olympics, by FAR. I highly prefer the skiing / snowboarding / luge business to all the running around in circles they do in the summer games. Running isn't a sport. It's a way to get away from something. Then again, maybe this is cause I'm a fat kid from Minnesota.

Nope, nobody cares about the Winter Olympics, others than those from the North, Norwegians, and hockey fans...

I will forever favor the Winter Olympics because of the magic that is curling.

Its hard to say. I mean, the winter olympics has women's figure skating. The summer has women's gymnastics. I am not sure which I like better. Its too hard....... to decide.

If the African Nations is on the same time as the Winter Olympics, i'll be watching that. And preying Ivory Coast get knocked out first round so we can get Kolo Toure back.

They have winter olympics? Yes, it's where the greatest moment in American sports occurred. Don't drag me into your frozen skatefighting hell...

Summer Olympics should start a drastic "diet" in terms of program...
If they could keep it down to the track&field events, I'd like it much more.
Disciplines that already have "World Championship" competitions should get the hell out of the Olympics. Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Boxing etc aren't really required, as there are more important competitions for them.
Not to mention minor sports with little to none exposure.
Winter Olympics may please a "smaller" area (while smaller means most of Europe, Northern America and Japan), but the competition is much closer and thrilling. And there's little dead weight in the program.

Neither have as much prestiege as Mario and Sonic at the Olympics.
