Welcome back everyone we are currently in the midst of round 3 and with all these heroes and villains blasting lasers and plotting each others downfall no one is safe ... so we are now down to 64 contenders, who is going on to the fourth round? Who is going to cry all the way home to Aunt May or Jimmy Olsen? Only time will tell.
You might be asking who could possibly be left what with Ironman, Mr. Sinister, Green Lantern and Darkseid being eliminated in the last round (Amongst others) ... well I'll let you know some cool facts (Before the 3rd round started) ...
There are:
31 - Heroes left
29 - Villains left
4 - Anti-Heroes/Mercenaries left
While Marvel has 39 representatives left and DC has just 25, plus Hellboy remains on his own for any other major comicbook publisher.
There are also five doctors left (Although techinically one isn't an actual doctor)
Rules
Last time in round 3 ... Captain Cold Defeated Bane.
-----------------------------
Up next a titanic battle of tyranny vs lunacy ....
Apocalypse - Marvel: An immortal born at the dawn of mankind, En Sabah Nur is one of the oldest mutants on the planet. Upon bonding with extraterrestrial technology, he was forever altered into something beyond mutant. His ambitions and goals has put him among the most fearsome villains in Marvel Comics. Throughout history, he has brought growth, judgement, and destruction. He believes in his merciless Social Darwinist philosophy: only the fittest have the right to survive — and he gets to define who is fittest. In order to cull out the weak from the strong and "improve" mankind, Apocalypse works behind-the-scenes, weeding out those unfit through global war and conflict, ushering in the Age of Apocalypse. In several timelines, Apocalypse has established control over the world, even in a distant dark future. Apocalypse does not age nor tire from physical exertion. He is nearly invulnerable, able to withstand and rapidly recover from devastating attacks. Should he suffer fatal injuries, he has been able to enter a state of hibernation in rejuvenation chambers to revive his native power and life force. If the regeneration cycle isn't completed, he is left in a weakened state. Aside from his superhuman powers, Apocalypse is wise and extraordinarily intelligent, with millennia of experience.
(Defeated Brainiac and Sabretooth)
vs
Deadpool - Marvel: Nicknamed the "Merc with a Mouth", Deadpool is a high-tech mercenary known for his wisecracks, black humor, and satirical pop-culture references. Like the X-Men's Wolverine, Deadpool is the product of the Canadian government's paramilitary Weapon X program, although his place of birth is unknown. After Weapon X cured his terminal cancer by implementing a regenerative "healing factor" extracted from Wolverine, Deadpool is left disfigured and mentally unstable. Deadpool is one of few Marvel comic book characters, another being She-Hulk, that have regularly broken the "fourth wall" and called attention to his nature as a comic book character. Deadpool uses his continuous, off-the-wall banter to distract, insult, frustrate and infuriate his opponents. Even when at their mercy, he has refused to keep quiet and his constant chatter has even slightly muddled Daredevil's enhanced senses.
(Defeated Ironfist and Powerman)
This is truly difficult ... I'm going with Deadpool myself purely on the basis that he is more entertaining to read.

- First to 4 votes wins. (After 3 rounds it will progress to 5 votes for the next two rounds, at the quaters it will be 6, the semi's 7 and the final will get a couple of days.)
- 256 characters will enter ... they will be spread roughly between hero and villains ... with a few Vigilante/anti-hero's thrown in.
- The main selection will be from DC & Marvel ... however a few from other independant comics have been included.
- In case of characters who have had multiple people in there roles, use the general basis of that character. (e.g. Green Lantern, Flash, Baron Zemo etc)
- I will try to update this as swiftly as possible.
- I will be voting as well.
- The matches are determined at random.
- IMPORTANT! - Vote on who you like the most, not on who would win in a fight.
