Well this year rocked my socks to be quite honest. I accomplished a lot of personal goals professionally, plus I got married.
Yeah, perfect freaking 10.

The last few months have been hell, and the rest of it I can barely remember...
But sitting here now thinking about it, what have I accomplished this year?
I've driven my mental health to an all time low.
Done so many dumb things I don't even know where to start... f***ing up my laptop after eating a bunch of pills is one... showing up at school f***ed up with my face all cut up, not even noticing... things I've said to friends I really reget... lying and being a manipulative asshole at times, against both friends and family.
Really. I've been so amazingly self destructive this year, and I can't remember half of it. All I know is that now I feel like shit, and I'm thinking of not going out to celebrate new year's if I can't ... well... get something first.
On the other hand, I've had good times. I have friends I'd do anything for, and they would do the same... but I really can't rate 2007. It's been bad, it's been good, but most of all, I don't know how it's already been a year.

5. I've been in neutral for the past few years, although things that I don't control seem to be looking up right now

I thought my life in 2007 was pretty good because I've been trying to get more involved at school like dances and wake-a-thons. The grad dance was probably one of the funnest times of my life. Summer was pretty cool because I went to the West Edmonton Mall and I went to my Family Reunion, which was pretty fun. After I graduated, I just moved in my own home. Yeah, 2007 was a pretty eventful year for me.

If it wasn't for University, then it would have been lower.

Cant really rate it. A lot of the year has been amazing and I think it could have been a solid 9. But tragedy in my family in March drags it right down to a .5 So just going to say Unrated

B.S. and drama during the summer and autumn preceded the breakup of my 13 year marriage. I realize now that the haters just can't help themselves. People spread gossip and believe what they must. So I look on the bright side of the situation, I'm free for 2008! Here are some lessons I learned in 2007: >>Do not permit any miserable person to negatively affect your psyche. Such people are angry at the world and will do anything in their power to make you feel their pain. >> Dump the dead weight and do not look back. Why should you feel bad about dumping someone after careful consideration? >> When your woman is no longer eager to please, its time to get rid of her. And if she "got in bed" with your enemies, that is all the reason you need. >> You must stabilize your crew. Any of your friends with a weak personality is to be shunned. No fink is to be allowed to infiltrate the clique. Especially a wussy who's scared of his wife! I hope that you all can benefit from the wisdom I just shared. Happy New Year!!!

I'll give it a 7, but thats being generous.
Jan and Feb were fun
March my best friend OD'd and almost died.
April the "one" quit talking to me, and we've only talked once.
Rest of the school year and summer was ok. Some bad things, but nothing stands out.
August-November were downright AWESOME
December 1st started the downward slide. Thats when the girl I was heavily courting chose my best friend over me. Since then, my grandpa died and my mom's boyfriend contracted cancer. Plus, I keep getting pulled back into this girl situation.
yeah, a 7's a little generous, but hey, I'm a senior and 18, so thats cool.

10. My mom recovered from her illness and moved out on her own, I got married, went on a cruise, moved into a nice new place, my wife graduated from college, I got seasons 1 and 2 of the office for Christmas and we are ending the year buying a new 2008 honda CR-V that will be my car.

8. Started off the year great (Sex!). Then it got crappy (Bad grades). Then the summer was awesome (Hangin' with my friends and Sex! Lots!). School was cool (No sex, but tons of fun with my friends and good grades! And dumped my girlfriend who turned out to be too immature). And it ended great, too (Accepted to college!)
Good year.

A 7. A bit back and forth, but I'm alive and well, so that counts for something.

I'll give this year a 6.
Very horrible start. I fell out with a good friend of mine and we still haven't made up. Picked up in the middle when I became reunited with an old school friend and have been hanging out with him again since, which made up for the fact that I was in a lot of pain due to dental issues. Last part of the year has been pretty uneventful aside from one amazing night with this girl I'm after who hasn't been talking to me lately.
Still, Monty Python said it best: Always look on the bright side of life.

Summer was amazing for the second year in a row. Stayed at a college campus and took some classes, but had a lot of fun and made good friends.
My brother and his family got an apartment so they don't stress us out anymore.
We found out my mom had a small tumor around mid-year, but chemo seems to have eliminated almost all of it. Just hoping that her medication keeps it up.
Went out with this girl who was pretty much my best friend the past 2 years. Some of the best times in my life during those 3 months, but it ended kind of bitterly and I'm still confused by it.
Junior year at HS since September has been pretty cool, but I think I failed a class or two.
The high's were real high's, but the lows really sucked. Overall more good than bad, so an 8.
