That's what I was thinking but Sakurai's comment about Ness makes me think he was cut from the game.

Who wants to hear something crazy? On October 31st, a GameFAQer by the Chaos Zero posted this: Ok, I'm not trying to get attention here or anything, but I've got some insider news. I can't give proof, and if I could I wouldn't. I thought it was bull until Monday. I was told there was a stage creator. So far, this news has been correct. So check this out... Wolf is in the game. Falco is returning. Ganondorf is returning. Captain Falcon is returning. Lucario is taking Mewtwo's Place. Ness is returning. Zelda can turn into Sheik. And there are these items called "Dragoon Parts" I did some research and apparently they're from Kirby's Air Ride. Supposedly, if you collect all three parts you can do some devastating move where you control a crosshair and do a crazy rush or something.Oh and Final Destination is back. Now back then, you would think that was all BS. But somehow, he got the info of an item no one really expected. Did this guy actually tell the truth on everything? Or did he simply take one fact and place it in a sea of lies?

As a member of GameFAQs (yeah, yeah, I know, shut up), first and foremost, that was an unfair moderation.
Second...who's Lucario and Wolf?

get in there. I know very little about pokemon outside of the first 150 and when reading that name the first thing i thought of was the crappy flying whale thing. But that pokemon, when looking thru my brothers big book of pokemon struck me as being the most badass of recent games.
Hopefully he does get in

I don't believe Wolf will be in the game because we already then have Falco as our "second costume" version of Fox and why would we need a third Star Fox character? Wolf would just be Fox, except "evil". And I don't know for Lucario, because to be quite frank, I have no idea who that is. Nor would I care, because Pokemon is soooo 10 years ago.

Snake's Final Smash<Grenade Launcher> Snake’s Final Smash is the Grenade Launcher. What is he calling in...? Suddenly he does a great jump! Choppa-choppa-choppa! Snake grabs the rope ladder the helicopter drops and takes out his grenade launcher! So, the thing to do is shoot, right? Poom! Poom! Poom! You control the targeting reticule and press the attack button to fire grenades one at a time. There are six rounds, and when you run out... He loads a new clip? How can that be? It ends when you shoot 12 rounds or run out of time. Snake then climbs back up to return to battle. Yep. He makes his exit. It’s probably better to just shoot all your rounds rather than run out of time leaving ammo behind...but if you just shoot indiscriminately, your shots may be dodged. When there are two or more enemies, it might be a good idea to hit one as he is being attacked by the other, or something along those lines.

I read that people can bet coins they earned on a match between 2 people. Couldnt that eventually lead to people "throwing" matches so the person they involved with can get the coins? I mean I know its SSB and its stupid, but you know like 90% of people playing online are dumbasses who would rather get a real quick cheap win rather then have a fun match. Atleast thats the way its like on SDvR...

I was thinking that someone would try to abuse the system, but seeing how you don't know who is actually playing, it'd be a bit hard to tell who someone actually is unless maybe they always pick a certain color for a character.

Finally, Corocoro gives us new info!
Zelda's Final Smash is the Light Arrow.
Zeldas special attacks are Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, Farore's Wind, and Twilight Change. Many sources are listing Twilight Change as the original change ability from SSBM, most likely meaning that Shiek will be in the game.
Also, they are listing that Sonic and Snake will be hidden characters.

Snake has the most bad ass finisher in the whole game so far. Well maybe tied with Giga Bowser but it's still f***ing awesome.

Depending on how big an impact the grenades make/how fast they travel i can see them being fairly easy to dodge

That looks almost broken as finishers go. Depending on how much the grenades hit for, though. If they don't have much KO power, then it's not so brutal.
