I don't believe any reports until they're from the website itself. Beyond that, I'll wait for the game to come out to see what's in it.

well I didn't see it anywhere else but ness is in the game. wii.com/jp/movies/smashbros-movie1around the four minute mark also for those that don't see it, (which may be the majority because I sure didn't the first time) if you look on the lower right hand corner you can see which characters use the stickers. whoever was taking the video screwed up and you can clearly see ness as well as some other characters too.

Especially since they have a ready made model from Super Mario Galaxy. Smash Bros, wouldn't feel right without the Marior Brothers. Mewtoo could be in, but i'm thinking Lucario will replace him. And i'm also thinking Ness will be a costume change like Classic Wario for Lucas. not only do you see ness, but there is Jiggly puff, and what looks like Lucario or MEwtoo

Is it wrong to want DR.Robtink in the game? No, but he'll likely only be a trophy or sticker, and not a character.

Zelda's Final Smash<Light Arrow> In the final battles of many of the Legend of Zelda games, you didn’t want to be low on arrows. A lot of times they were Silver Arrows, though... Zelda’s ace in the hole is the magical Light Arrow, which you can use even as Sheik. Ready for the Final Smash! Draw the bow tight... Fire! A beam of light pierces your enemy. Your enemy is blown away by a tremendous force! When you’re using Sheik, some of the characteristics of the attack will change, like the direction your opponent gets knocked in. It’s good to use the character whose attack is best suited to the cover on each stage, but you probably shouldn’t worry TOO much about that. After all, once they’re hit, they’re pretty much done for. If you’re just playing one-on-one though, the Light Arrow might be easy to dodge. Try to create a situation where you have a good shot.

What are the chances of Luigi getting in? ..Or shall he get Mario 64'ed? I'd like to think he'll make it in because in Melee he started to have a moveset and style that branched away from mario

I am thinking Robotnic and K. Rool get in as bosses. They've only revealed one so far, and I have a hard time believing theyre gonna have Sonic in this game and not have stuff related to him in the game, and we already know he is in the Story mode (his trailer shows him with Mario).
And something to look into, I am not sure but I think they pushed back the time of the updates. I live in the central time zone and came home late from a party last night. Well, I went online, then saw the time before I signed off and it said 12:55. For me, the updates come in at 1:00 AM, so I thought i'd just get on the site then reload when the time came. I went to the website and the Zelda Final Smash update was already up.
I dunno if they moved it back or they just put it up a few minutes early or what. I have all my clocks synced with the satellite dish clock so mine could be a few seconds fast/slow, but not 5 minutes.
Oh and since I am rolling dialup (and the quick reply box) I don't have a pic, but those screens of the new characters=an MVP level of BALLIN!

ManaphyIt’s Manaphy! This Pokémon also appeared in a movie. This Manaphy is quite different from the other Pokémon that appear in this game. So much so that you’ll think, is this even possible?! Or words to that effect. It appears from the Poké Ball! Heart Swaaaaaaaaap! ......... Nothing happened...? No. That is not so. Why, Zelda and DK have switched bodies! Wait... You mean, I’m her, and she’s me?! AAAUUUGGGHHH! You have to fight as your opponent for a while! They say it’s good to know your enemy. But you haven’t really swapped places, so if you jump off the edge, it counts as a self-destruct for you. And your damage meter remains as it was. After a certain amount of time, you go back to normal. Phew. Good. Things always seem to end well in this game, don’t they? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Iwata AsksThere’s a web page nestled within Nintendo’s official site where Mr. Iwata, President of Nintendo Co. Ltd., interviews other Nintendo employees. This corner of the website is known as "Iwata Asks." For some reason, I, Masahiro Sakurai, was invited to one of these interviews. Wha--? But I’m not a Nintendo employee! I-is this OK? Are we seriously doing this? Oh, is that so? All right, well, if you insist! I imagine this interview should give you a tiny glimpse behind the curtains to see what creating Super Smash Bros. Brawl has been like. Go on and click the link below to check it out! us.wii.com/iwata_asks/ssbb/vol1_page1.jsp

Mushroomy KingdomAh, the Mushroom Kingdom. Most Smash players recognize this place from previous games in the series, where the world was represented in a pixel-art style reminiscent of the original Super Mario Bros. But why the "y" on the end of "Mushroom"? What’s the difference? Oh, so that’s why! This time around, we’ve designed a stage that recreates the layout of World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros.—but with rich backgrounds added to the mix. The stage scrolls forward at a leisurely pace. Pieces of familiar scenery scroll by. The kingdom you once knew has turned to ruins over the long years, and it is now your battlefield. You’ll get to enjoy a wide range of familiar structures. Also, since the stage slowly scrolls sideways, battles here will require you to come up with a very different strategy for winning. Oh, and when you select this stage it will occasionally load an alternate underground stage. This is the famous World 1-2. This one’s also quite charming. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Super Mario Bros.: Ground ThemeThe Mushroomy Kingdom stage sports the most famous stage design in all of gaming. And the world famous Mr. Koji Kondo, creator of the music for Super Mario Bros., has kindly done us the service of arranging this theme for the stage! The original overworld theme in Super Mario Bros. had a certain, almost Latin flavor to it, but this time the theme features a piano arrangement that really goes along well with the atmosphere of Mushroomy Kingdom. It’s just wonderful. Mr. Kondo, thank you for your help!

Is it me, or has Captain Falcon's popularity skyrocketed since his availability in the game has been questioned? Well honestly, other than the Home Run Contest, CF was pretty good character to play as, I especially liked his "Show me your moves" taunt. Not only that, he's the only guy to represent the F-Zero games, so to leave him out for say some crappy Pokemon seems pretty useless to me. Not only that, he was in the first 2 and for him to get the ax instead of say the Ice Climbers is not very great. I'm hoping he's either the last character update or the hardest guy on the game to unlock, thus making the more appreciation given to his Falcon Punch.
