Is it me or does it seem like everyone is yelling at everyone for the tiniest reasons lately? It comes and goes in waves like that. Personally, I just think everyone here has been around each other so long, you're all just getting your menstrual cycles in-synch. |

Anything about a presidential candidate, even something in jest, can wind up down a wrong road, so we kinda just nip them out before that can happen. And also so no one can ask why one stayed but another didn't.

Reason for locking the chat thread? I am not a mod but I' m pretty sure they' ve been forbidden because it eventually led to just half a handful of people posting random stuff to inflate their post count. |

I am not a mod but I' m pretty sure they' ve been forbidden because it eventually led to just half a handful of people posting random stuff to inflate their post count. Which is a bunch of crap. It's no different than any other thread that doesn't amount to much like rate the sig, avie, or anything else. Hell, when the board stables were around nobody stopped to bother then when they were hijacking threads which was far worse. To this day I'll never understand the fierce hate people have for the chats. And no, I never was a chatter. |

I've only seen about 20 different tournaments since I joined. It's also near impossible to spam on a board with 15 seconds minimum between posts. Seriously, what's the big deal about post counts again? You think on a board of mostly adult men, the first thing they think about is getting a lot of posts? This isn't a board for 10 year olds. Only use I have for my postcount is so I can make a measure of how far back certain things were (I tend to record my posts at certain numbers in order to type that in at the "View posts" thing to read old threads). That's about it though. |

I believe there was also a comment the last time there was a chat thread about how that was a one time only deal and that they were not planning on bringing it back. Then of course it came back last night. By the way for anyone reading this. That 30 page limit thing is basically subjective. It just depends on when we decide to lock it and start a new one if needed. |
