There was a thread on here about wrestlers who weren't very talented in the ring but were extremely over. But, how about wrestlers who were/are excellent in the ring/on the mic, but weren't/aren't very over?

Kaz's name jumps to mind as well. He's crazy good in the ring, but he has little personality.

Winner. I loved watching him wrestle, but, unfotunately, he never got the reaction I felt he deserved. He did get a bit more when he started showing his personality towards the end of his career, playing straightman for Saturn, but that was too little too late. He is the author of my favorite quote ever, though, so I shall forever mark. "A building without air conditioning is like a birthday party without the f***ing alcohol and strippers".

Great technical wrestler, but had no personality. He was over slightly in WCW, but if he was charismatic I think more people would've remembered him.

Now, if they woudnl't have turned him into some demented version of Mickey Mouse, it might've helped a bit.

Far as that goes, it cou'dve been worse. Hell, they could've Tommy'd him and had Austin make fun of him for not getting to have a match, make him fetch drinks and crap. Because, as we all know, THAT'S how you get somebody over, you tell the marks "this guy SUCKS, laugh at him ".

I loved how they crowd was 100% behind Tazz and yet he never snapped and turned on Austin. Bizarre.
