I see Hero cheating Nigel out of it, and losing it to double C. Or, if they're teasing a Nigel heel turn, the other way around.

Then all these wins that Claudio has over Hero make sense, so now Hero will try and duck defending it against Claudio at all costs. Plus, it could make the dynamic of the Nigel/Amdrag stuff even better(AmDrag would be super heel though, saying stuff like "I not only defended my title against yours, but I took your pure title as well. And you couldn't even keep the world title long enough to defend it against me"). Plus, I'd rather see Nigel and Dragon have a nice long feud, but not over the world title. Maybe have Dragon bring back the pure title to mock Nigel, perhaps.

I think that Hero will win it...sooner than you think:

During Ring of Honor’s pay-per-view taping this past Saturday night in New York City, ROH Champion Nigel McGuiness broke his nose, suffered a concussion, and needed 14 internal and external stitches after he smashed his face on the guard rail. While there is talk that he may take some time off, he worked last night’s Final Battle show in New York City, cutting a promo about his match the night before.
Nigel is supposed to defend the title on Jan. 25 in Dayton against Chris Hero in a steel cage...hm...

I want them to give it to Hero, I think they need to give it to Hero, I think Hero is the best choice they have for a Champion (just based on the fact that he would be something totally different from past champions), but I never see it. I mean, literally NEVER see Hero wearing the ROH Title.
I say Nigel gets past Hero in Dayton, through Strong in Chicago, finally upends Danielson in New York, then it's a free for all with Claudio beating him sometime this Summer. Barring injuries continuing to linger which would make it even more of a toss up.

I dunno why, but Roddy seems like a good choice.
