Yes, managers can be used. To do this, go to where it says "1P" in the match rules selection. Press X, hit down once, and it will say "Wrestler CP Confirm" in the line. Press X with 'Wrestler' highlighted. Choose 'Second'. Then go to Confirm. There's your manager. Ah so THAT's what a Second is.

Had a seriously rough match yesterday (CPU Level 10, the only place to be) with my CAW 'Paragon', an Indy-style wrestler with mostly traditional moves with a couple 'puro' in there too, against Yuji Nagata. Best of 3 falls, like I usually do. The first 10 minutes was all back-and-forth, I got the upper hand around the 10-minute mark and held it for the next 10 minutes, getting loads of nearfalls. Around the 21-minute mark Yuji started reversing everything. I mean EVERYTHING. I was in serious trouble and started going to the outside to catch my breath, lured him around the ring, until I finally made a comback around the 28-minute mark. That ended at 30 minutes, with more back-and-forth action, lots of near-falls and really, really lucky rope breaks. Then his comeback/domination began at 34 minutes, with him totally pwning me. He threw me outside and walked towards the ropes, I jumped to the apron, grabbed him, and got a tiger-suplex off the apron to the floor. Nagata rallied, beating my ass until the ref counted 13. He got off me, went to go back in the ring, I grabbed him, tiger-suplex whipped him back towards the crowd. 16. He gets up, and I hit a jumping enzugiri which he no-sells. 18. Head-hold lariat, putting him back down. 19. I use the []+X combo to slide back into the ring quickly, 20! Nagata is counted out at ~35 minutes.
Both of us were so trashed for the second fall, he comes at me and hits an exploder for a 2.9 count. He hits another for another 2.9 count. Kicks me, rolls me over, and slaps on the Nagata lock/Modified Figure-4 Leglock, but I was in the ropes. Rope break. My leg is injured, I roll around. He rolls me onto my stomach, picks me up- ROLLUP counter! 1-2-3! Second fall lasted maybe a minute and a half, tops. Still, it was an amazing match.

I wish I had matches that good on that difficulty level. I played a 5-on-5 team match at level 8 and lost four of the five matches, with the only win coming from Marcus Trunk (the biggest guy in the match, go figure). KUDAI had a pretty good match in the opener, but lost around the 20-minute mark. And the opponent (who I don't remember) kept kicking out of every suplex I threw at him.

Well I've learned recently that you should not have a woman face a giant.
I was playing a cage match against one of my bigger created characters with one of my female ones. I pretty much beat the crap out of the bigger guy, trying repeatedly to put him down, hitting move after move, finisher after finisher, none of them of course coming close to criticaling at all. He just kept kicking out, then coming back at me with every move of his own. I eventually tried using a chair as well, among other weapons, but that wasn't enough either. I kept beating on the guy for over a damn hour ,trying to get him to go down... but to no avail. So eventually, I just quit the match. If I hadn't who knows how long it would've taken to win that one?!

Just downloaded a bunch of WWE guys and some random other indie ones, and that pack had THE ZOMBIE in it!! I was like...whoa! *copy*
I also downloaded a sweet IV Horsemen pack.

quick question, I seem to be faltering a lot just trying to get out of playing against the CPU on level 2 (granted I haven't had a lot of time to play), and it seems to me my timing is just very very off. For grapples, is it input the move the instant at which the hands touch shoulders, or input the move when the lock-up is completed?

Has anyone gotten the female models to "look female"? The ones I've seen in the game have the same build as the guys, so they don't look right to me.

I've kinda/sorta given it a shot, but apparently the more layers of clothing you add the less defined the female form becomes. So to answer your question, not quite.

I never use CAW formulas, so I hate asking, but does anyone know how to make the sweet Captain America CAW in a bunch of FPWR vids on youtube? I cant make his head look good for the life of me. I can figure out the costume on my own but his mask is giving me untold amounts of trouble.

I'm listening to this week's Between the Ropes, and they have an interview with Steve Corino. Apparently he's addicted to his son's copy of Fire Pro right now.

That Finlay could use work on the attire logos, and there's something odd about Burke's hair, but other than that they're very good. Please post pics and formulas for the Chiakara guys. Yeah I have changed Finlays logos since i took the pick. I usually first make a CAW with a bunch of the logos so I can see what the colors will look like and if the all go together, then clean them up after. And I threw a little goldish streaks in Burkes hair for a bit of a beaded effect, it looks good when in play. Here is my Chikara List Los Ice Creams Eddie Kingston Larry Sweeney Crossbones Sabian The Colony Hallowicked Mitch Ryder Player Uno Shane Storm Amasis Ophidian Hydra Claudio Quak Delirious Akuma Taylor Ultra Mantis Let me know who you want.

Alright, I will start posting the pics when I get home tonight. And I will post my updated list of everyone else. If anyone has any ideas how to some better or see something you dont like, just tell me. I refuse to get any CAW from any of the CAW sites they have all looked pretty bad to me and I would just rather do them myself.

What'd he do that was amazing? I must have missed it. I did think it was cool that KENTA kicked out of the Emerald Frosion twice. Not too surprising that Misawa no-sold GTS, though.
