Holy crap...I forget to visit for one freaking day and I am absolutley floored by what I see.
Like Ani, I have also had mine on reserve since October and am going right before church to get it (our church is within walking distance from the Gamestop I reserved it at).

Holy mother of god! Just award it game of the year now.Only thing that could make it better is if Nintendo announces a hard drive. I've had mine reserved since October ;D Seriously, the Wii could produce two 10 games in three months. That's insane. But just remember we get GTA IV, MGS IV, Spore and Too Human this year, not to mention seeing more of Final Fantasy XIII and whatever else may be announced soon.

I have been marking out straight for the past 10 minutes, particularly about R.O.B. and Game and Watch.
This game looks astounding.

I possibly think this game just may break the record Halo 3 holds.

I possibly think this game just may break the record Halo 3 holds. the US$170 million on launch day? and $300 million in the first week? It might be possible, but it's daunting. *does some math* Assuming the game is $50 USD at launch (going by Gamestop.com's price) they would have to sell 3.4 million copies...on launch day. In the first week they'd have to sell 6 million copies even. For comparison, Halo 3 has in total sold 8.1 million copies since its launch I think with Halo 3 there's the fact that some of the copies sold at launch were some of the Special Edition and Legendary Edition copies, which means there was prices of $60, $70 and $130 being thrown into totaling Of course, Melee only sold 250,000 copies in 9 days when it came out, but less people owned Gamecubes than people currently owning Wiis, if we are to believe sales figures.

Kinda bummed that Roy got bumped instead of Marth, since Roy was a much better KOer, but not a huge deal. I'd still like to think that there are a few people that aren't unlocked yet.
And ROB? f*** YEAH!!!

Ok, seriously....how in the HELL would R.O.B. fight? He doesn't even move his arms to steer in Mario Kart DS!
Really, out of anyone that should've been an assist trophy, R.O.B. is the one. As awesome as he is, he is NOT a capable fighter. I'm barely accepting Captain Olimar as a fighter, but he still seems plausible. R.O.B. can't do anything....

On a side note, this game seems really, really dark......I guess that is what comes with getting a story mode. Though, for the record, the story mode in Brawl looks to be the deepest storyline of any Mario game to this point.

R.O.B. could just shoot people with the NES Zapper, but that would be kinda crappy.

Ever see Awesome Video Games? ;D Yes, but R.O.B. still looks to suck. Such as, how can he grapple/throw if his arms have just the very basic mobility? Then again, I guess we'll just have to see, as Nintendo was able to make Game & Watch work and he is completely flat. I still say that one of the unlockable characters is someone from Animal Crossing. They can't give us a stage based on the series, assist trophies from the series, AND give a logo for it(logos mean there is a playable character from that series in the final game) and cheat us out of a playable character.

R.O.B. could just shoot people with the NES Zapper, but that would be kinda crappy. And super weak....allowing three characters(Falco, Fox, and R.O.B.) be able to have guns(laser guns, but still guns) and say no go on the firearms for Snake, leaving him with the explosives, of which only the NIKITA rocket and Grenade Launcher Final Smash are useful weapons in the first two Solid games(the Claymore didn't become useful until the 3rd game, and the Cypher....WTF?! The Cyphers in MGS2 were enemies!).
