Did anyone watch the UFC on Spike tv Saturday? Man, I was waiting for a great main event, and it looked like it was going to be a heck of a match until Ken slipped throwing a kick, and his opponenet(Franklin, I think) jumped on him and threw punches until the ref stopped it. Isn't WWE almost finished with Spike? Or is it UPN? Spike could have a winner with UFC. I'd watch it! 'Quake

The WWE's contract with both UPN and Spike TV run out this coming August or September. They are going back to USA with both Raw and Smackdown.
The UFC is an interesting departure from pro wrestling. I caught part of it on Fox Sports Net last night. It was a different show from what Spike TV was airing. I agree with you about Spike TV maybe having a winner in UFC.

I actually missed that, and to answer your question the wwe is indeed finished with spike tv.(i don't know how much longer they have left on the contract though). when it is over they will be going back to usa though.

I saw that on the replay Sunday night, I was kinda disappointed in the Main Event, but the Bonnar vs. Griffin fight more than made up for that, wow they were throwing some bombs in that one.

Yeah, the Shamrock final was somewhat disappointing, but you must admit that the light heavyweight final between Forrest Griffin and Stephen Bonnar was well worth the price of admission. Watching those two beat the hell out of each other was quite entertaining. They were throwing huge punches at each other and they kept coming back for more.
No wonder that both participants were offered UFC contracts.

I watched it Saturday night, and once again after Raw. And it sort of looked as if, Shamrock slipped twice, could wrong though (usually am.)
Bonner/Griffen was one of the best UFC fights I've ever seen, if not the best. And the way they did their promos after the fight was golden as well, with the joking around mixed with the emotion of the whole thing. And Dana White offering Bonner a contract was super-duper.

We get UFC over here in the UK. UFC 52 will be shown here too which will be free as it's on a 24 hour delay. I'd like to see Ken Shamrock against Tito Ortiz, as Tito was talking trash about Ken after his match at UFC 51. Randy Couture against Chuck Liddell should be good.

I felt bad for Ken since I was hoping to see the 40+ guy whoop somebody.

Yeah it kinda sucked as i think the only reason he lost(well in the first round that is) is cause he slipped twice atleast Big John(the Ref not Mr. Tenta) put a stop to it real quick once Shamrock was down.
