Hey John, glad to read that your on the mend, I know you will fight this thing and beat it once and for all!! I'm a wrestler here in the UK, now in my 4th year as a pro and I'm loving every minute of it. Due to the wrestling scene not being huge over here and having the need to pay the bills it not something you can really make a living out of so its more of a hobby to me than a job (which in many ways makes it more fun). I'm sure you havw wrestled in the UK many times and I was wondering what your experiences were like. I was also wondering if you would like me to mail you some footage of the promotion I wrestle for (the BAWA) so you can watch something a little different if you get the time. Obviously I realise you have much more important things going on at the minute. Thanks again for taking time out to talk with us fans. I try to do the same with people when they want to talk about my matches etc. Wrestling is about the fans and you cleary understand that

Before I finished wrestling I was making regular tours of the UK with Scott Conway, and Brian Dixon. I love the UK, and dream of coming back one day with the WWE. Nothing beats a British pub, except maybe an Irish pub, or a Scottish pub, or a Welsh pub. I guess it depends where I'm at. 'Quake

At this point I'll even settle for an American pub dressed up like a British pub! I haven't had a drink in about 2 years. 'Quake

I'd think you'd have a better time in the UK as a worker than over here. At least fans there seem to have more respect than here. I was a worker for 2 years before college life took over my time and I lost my ring shape.
In the US, particularly in my area, its hard to make it in the business. I know tons of guys who have tried out for WWE millions of times and are so gifted yet they never get a contract. I only worked a match with one guy who is now Antonio of the Heart Throbs, but in our match 3 years ago he was just as green as I was.
Basically if you're not under 26 and don't have a Randy Orton body - it's hard to be a wrestler for a living here. At least from what I have experienced.

I heard awhile back that you were sick, and was just told this is were I could get in touch with you. I'm glad you're better, you were always one of the nicest guys and deserve the best. I hope the family is good, write me back if you have time. Cloverdale will never be the same without you.
