1. Left-Overs - www.imdb.com/title/tt0245228/Excellent movie. It's a slacker comedy in the same vein was Clerks, but IMO is a better movie. It's easily the best movie that no one's ever seen. 2. The Delicate Art of the Rifle - www.imdb.com/title/tt0126260/Great independent film loosely, and I mean very loosely, based on the Charlie Whitman shootings. There's some bad acting, but the guy who plays Walt Whitman(Steven Grant) puts on the performance of a life time. That guy should be in a ton of more movies, but unfortunately this was his only film. This is on IFC every once in awhile, and I highly recommend checking it out. You won't find it on DVD, VHS, or anything like that, so if you really like surreal movies I suggest setting your DVR.

Angus - A coming of age comedy that's actually somewhat clever...
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer just being amazing for 2 hours.
Mr. Brooks - A solid thriller with both William Hurt and Kevin Costner bringing good performances, and Dane Cook isn't irritating!
Before The Devil Knows You're Dead - Virtually ignored last year for the likes of Juno, No Country for Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. This is a Sidney Lumet masterpiece that is dripping with character study. Ethan Hawke, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Albert Finney all bring the amazing.
The Namesake - A well-crafted tale of an Indian family's life in America (With Kal Penn, of Harold & Kumar fame, throwing in an absolutely great performance)... If you live in the U.S. but your family isn't originally from here then you need to see this movie... It gave me a much greater understanding of my own father.
