hey quaksta. whats up hows it goin? I am currently trying to get in better athletic shape by the fall but i am in kind of a pickle because i dont have many weights, machines, or any other kind of equipment to use, and not much money to get some or the time to join a public gym. Do you (and any other crappers) have any advice. tips, exscersices or workouts that i could use that would make good progress. Thx much for all your help

Okay, first for your aerobic workout, start with walking, or jogging. If you can't do that where you live, find a big parking lot or something. If you are going to walk to start, head to a big shopping mall. The "mall-walkers" are smart. Weather can't stop them, and in the summer it is air conditioned. Old calesthenics will work well in place of weights- pushups, situps, dips, knee bends, and lunges. You can probably work your biceps with the few weights you have. With dumbells you can also work your shoulders. One of those rubber bands could be of use as well, or a jump rope. Hope this helped. 'Quake

Places like the YMCA dont cost much money to join and some are free. Running and jogging are great, malls are good and you can get your shopping done and use those for extra weight while running. If you choose to use one of those band things, be very careful, I saw someone use it and it snapped, catching him in the face and it was a little messy. Good luck with the training.
