Wouldn't talking about kayfabe on a message board technically be breaking it? I mean this whole Matt Hardy thing has actually had people saying "Is this real?!?" Something that hasn't been said about anything in wrestling in a long time.

There really is no kayfabe anymore. It used to be a term to protect the business from "Marks". The business was to give the impression that all was real. Vince himself broke kayfabe. It is common knowledge that wrestling is now "entertainment". The only thing that is secret is where the storylines are headed. I didn't see the Hardy thing so don't know what you're talking about, but Vince is just doing what he always does- takes something that people are talking about, and find a way to use it. 'Quake

Well, with the whole Matt Hardy thing perhaps Kayfabe changed.
The internet has become important, but how much is real that we read? Did Brock Lesnar really break off all the negotiations or is he comming back to the WWE? How much of the Matt Hardy angle is a work? Does HBK really dislike Hogan or are all the cheapshots planned?
The idea behind kayfabe was to make sure that fans didn't know what was really going on backstage. But at this moment, with WWE doing more with the internet, we don't know what is going on. So in a way, that's kayfabe.
